     Edward Hepworth was born on 13 February 1784. He was the son of John Hepworth and Frances Newsome. Edward Hepworth was baptized on 2 May 1784 at Batley.¹

     Sarah Hepworth was born in 1786. She was the daughter of John Hepworth and Frances Newsome. Sarah Hepworth was baptized on 30 April 1786 at Batley.¹

     Reuben Hepworth was born on 6 July 1788. He was the son of John Hepworth and Frances Newsome. Reuben Hepworth was baptized on 27 July 1788 at Batley.¹

     Rayner Roberts was born in 1873 at Batley. He was the son of Thomas Walker Roberts and Mary Rayner. Rayner Roberts married Maud Sheard, daughter of Henry Sheard and Ellen Hepworth, in 1897.¹
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the head of household at 9 Field Hill, Batley, as a newspaper sub-editor, living next door to Maud's parents.²
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the head of household at Gothic Cottage, Field Hill, Batley, as a newspaper editor.
Rayner Roberts died in July 1943.³

     Frank Ward was born on 21 January 1869. He was the son of John Ward and Emma Willans. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the son of John Ward at Commercial Street, Batley.¹
Frank Ward was baptized on 25 February 1874.²
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as an insurance agent the son of John Ward at Bleak House, Batley.³

     Kate Ward was born on 26 March 1870. She was the daughter of John Ward and Emma Willans. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as the daughter of John Ward at Commercial Street, Batley.¹
Kate Ward was baptized on 25 February 1874 at Batley.²

     Carrie Ward was born on 29 August 1872. She was the daughter of John Ward and Emma Willans. Carrie Ward was baptized on 25 February 1874 at Batley.¹
She died on 8 February 1885 at age 12.²
