     Robert Spawforth was born on 18 April 1769. He was the son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley. Robert Spawforth was baptized on 15 May 1769 at Batley.¹
He married Elizabeth Hepworth, daughter of John Hepworth, on 7 August 1791 at Batley.¹
Robert Spawforth was buried on 9 May 1821 at Batley ; aged 52.¹

     James Spawforth was born on 25 February 1771.¹ He was the son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley. James Spawforth was baptized on 1 April 1771 at Batley.¹

     William Spawforth was born on 3 March 1776.¹ He was the son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley. William Spawforth was baptized on 7 April 1776 at Batley.¹

     John Spawforth was born on 14 August 1778.¹ He was the son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley.¹ John Spawforth was baptized on 13 September 1778 at Batley.¹
He married Hannah Musgrave on 3 January 1805 at All Saints, Wakefield.
John Spawforth died on 15 September 1809 at age 31; aged 31 years.² He was buried on 17 September 1809 at Batley.¹

     George Spawforth was born on 19 April 1781.¹ He was the son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley.¹ George Spawforth was baptized on 20 May 1781 at Batley.¹
He was buried on 27 August 1825 at Batley ; aged 44.¹

     Elizabeth Hepworth is the daughter of John Hepworth. Elizabeth Hepworth married Robert Spawforth, son of James Spawforth and Ann Tetley, on 7 August 1791 at Batley.¹

     Roberta Parker was born circa 1841 at Heckmondwike. She was listed in the census of 7 April 1861 as a house servant in the in the household of George Sheard at Staincliffe Hill, Batley.¹
By this time there are two small children in the household; By this time, with two small children and Annie pregnant again a housemaid and a nurse. Roberta Parker married John Crabtree in 1865.²
In the census of 2 April 1871 Roberta Crabtree was listed at Upper George St, Heckmondwike, as wife of John Crabtree.³

     John Crabtree was born circa 1836 at Heckmondwike. He married Roberta Parker in 1865.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Upper George St, Heckmondwike, as a coal and loan agent employing one boy.²

     Emma Roe was born circa 1845 at Wakefield. She was listed in the census of 7 April 1861 as a nurse in the in the household of George Sheard.¹ By this time George and Annie had two small children, Fanny aged 3 and George Michael aged 1, and Annie was pregnant again.

     Emma Jane Musgrave was born circa 1846 at Tiverton, Devon, She was the daughter of agricultural labourer Robert Musgrave.
She was listed in the census of 2 April 1871 as a servant in the household of George Sheard at Oakwell, Gomersal.¹ At that time there was another housemaid and also a groom. Emma Jane Musgrave married Batley cloth finisher John Gooder in 1872.²

     John Gooder was born circa 1847 at Batley. He married Emma Jane Musgrave in 1872.¹

     Jane Ellen Gooder was born in 1873. She was the daughter of John Gooder and Emma Jane Musgrave.

     Fred Gooder was born in 1880. He was the son of John Gooder and Emma Jane Musgrave.

     George Gooder was born circa 1875. He was the son of John Gooder and Emma Jane Musgrave.

     Emma Birkett was born in 1850 at Birkenshaw She was the daughter of woolsorter Thomas Birkett. She was listed in the census of 2 April 1871 as a servant in the household of George Sheard at Oakwell, Gomersal.¹ At that time there was another housemaid and also a groom.

     Hannah Guyer was born circa 1859 at Ingleton, Yorkshire. She was the daughter of Anne Guyer. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 2 the daughter of Anne Guyer at Main St, Ingleton.¹
She was listed in the census of 3 April 1881 as a servant in the household of George Sheard at Upper Batley Lane, Batley.²
I believe Hannah Guyer later changed her occupation, a sign of the times, and is the Hannah Gruyer shown as a typewriter born in Ingleton visiting a Vincent Massey and family in Wanstead in 1891; There are now three new domestic staff at the Woodlands.

     Anne Guyer was born circa 1825 at Ingleton. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the head of household at Main St, Ingleton, as a bread baker.¹

     Thomas Guyer was born circa 1851 at Ingleton. He was the son of Anne Guyer. In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a scholar the son of Anne Guyer at Main St, Ingleton.¹

     William Guyer was born circa 1852 at Ingleton. He was the son of Anne Guyer. In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a scholar the son of Anne Guyer at Main St, Ingleton.¹

     Adelaide Hanley was born circa 1868 at Drax, Yorkshire. She was listed in the census of 5 April 1891 as a servant in the household of George Sheard at The Woodlands, Batley.¹
Adelaide Hanley was to leave to marry a local man
; now employ a cook and two other domestic servants. She married Herbert Henry Wood in 1898.²
In the census of 31 March 1901 Adelaide Wood was listed at Lower House, Valley Rd, Liversedge, as wife of Herbert Henry Wood.³

     Isabella Appleton was born circa 1859 at Goodmanham, Yorkshire. She was the daughter of Robert Appleton and Esther (?). She was listed in the census of 5 April 1891 as a cook in the household of George Sheard at The Woodlands, Batley.¹
I have not been able to find out what became of Isabella after she left the Sheards' employ; now employ a cook and two other domestic servants.

     Esther (?) was born circa 1826. She married Robert Appleton.

     Jane (?) married James Davis.
Jane (?) was born circa 1832.
