     George Milnes Hirst was born on 27 December 1827.1 He was the son of Joseph Hirst and Hannah Milnes. George Milnes Hirst was baptized in August 1829 at Dewsbury.1
He, who I believe to be Martha's nephew, appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in the household of James Hall and Martha Hall at Aldams House, Dewsbury.2 George Milnes Hirst, whom I believe to be Martha's nephew, appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 in the household of James Hall and Martha Hall at Purlwell, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer employing 4 men.3 George Milnes Hirst married Harriet Boyer in 1852.4

     Charles Stubley was born circa 1870. He was the son of Abraham Stubley and Grace Newsome. Charles Stubley married Isabella Dixon, daughter of Ziba Dixon and Dorothy Senior, on 16 November 1891 at Batley.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the head of household at Clarence Inn, Commercial St, Batley, as a publican. Ther are also a potman and a domestic servant.2
