In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as a coal miner. the brother of Susan Brearley His age is given as 22 like that of his sister, but this seems innacurate.3 William Brearley emigrated in 1892 travelling from Liiverpool to Boston on the Cephalonia, arriving on June 19th. this corresponds with the date given for the naturalization of a William Brearley of Burrillville in 1902.4 In the census of 7 January 1920 he was listed as a steam fitter in a woollen mill, the brother-in-law of Peter Riley at 180 Broad Street, Burrillville, Providence, Rhode Island.5
