In 1927 Fred E Fox & Son were listed as biscuit manufacturers at 15 Whitaker Street.5 In 1936 Fred Ellis Fox's business was incorporated as a private company under the name of F.E. Fox & Son Limited as biscuit manufacturers, the firm which was later to be known as Fox's Biscuits Limited.
He died on 16 June 1938 at Batley at age 66.
