     Wilfrid Robinson was born circa 1880. He was the son of Charles Robinson and Jane Anne Walker. In the census of 3 April 1891 he was listed as the son of Charles Robinson at 15 Field Hill, Batley.¹

     Martha Robinson was born circa 1882. She was the daughter of Charles Robinson and Jane Anne Walker. In the census of 3 April 1891 she was listed as the daughter of Charles Robinson at 15 Field Hill, Batley.¹

     Mary Gunnis was born circa 1802. She was the daughter of Joseph Gunnis and Mary (?). Mary Gunnis married James Willans, son of James Willans and Alice Crowther, on 22 April 1832 at St Mary Bassishaw, London, Witnesses were James Gunnis and William Hudswell.¹
Mary Willans appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in the household of James Gunnis at Hart St, St Alphage Sion College, Middlesex.² In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the head of household at Staincliffe Road, Batley, as a widow, a school mistress.³

     James Gunnis was born in 1771. He was the son of Joseph Gunnis and Ann (?). James Gunnis was baptized on 14 July 1771 at Combe, Oxfordshire.¹

On 22 June 1808 Benjamin Law pulled out of a partnership with 2 other Batley manufacturers, George Newsome and John Sheard and James Gunnis.²
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Hart St, St Alphage Sion College, Middlesex, as a warehouseman. With him were James Willans from Batley and James's wife Mary, who I believe to be James Gunnis's niece. Also present were a William Horsley, whose occupation looks like seedsman, and Joseph Knowles, a blanket manufacturer. None of these people were born locally, and although I have not been able to identify this Joseph Knowles it will be noted that it is a surname to be found in the Batley aea.³

     Job Gunnis was born in 1775. He was the son of Joseph Gunnis and Ann (?). Job Gunnis was baptized on 2 April 1775 at Combe, Oxfordshire.¹

     Ann Gunnis was born on 17 January 1807. She was the daughter of Job Gunnis. Ann Gunnis was baptized on 5 April 1807 at St Peters, leeds.¹

     Sarah Gunnis was born on 7 March 1809. She was the daughter of Job Gunnis. Sarah Gunnis was baptized on 31 March 1809 at St Peters, leeds.¹

     Robert Gunnis was born on 25 February 1810.¹ He was the son of Job Gunnis.¹ Robert Gunnis was baptized on 11 July 1810 at St Peters, Leeds.¹

     Mary (?) was born circa 1768. She married James Gunnis, son of Joseph Gunnis and Ann (?).
In the census of 6 June 1841 Mary Gunnis was listed at Hart St, St Alphage Sion College, Middlesex, as wife of James Gunnis.¹

     William Henry Newsome was born on 6 May 1862. He was the son of Edwin Newsome and Matilda Illingworth. William Henry Newsome was baptized on 13 July 1862 at Batley.¹

     George Newsome was born on 19 July 1863.¹ He was the son of Edwin Newsome and Matilda Illingworth.¹ George Newsome was baptized on 21 February 1864 at Batley.¹

     Illingworth Newsome was born on 18 May 1865.¹ He was the son of Edwin Newsome and Matilda Illingworth.¹ Illingworth Newsome was baptized on 19 November 1865 at Batley.¹

     Thomas Stubley was born circa 1899. He was the son of Charles Stubley and Isabella Dixon.

     Abraham Stubley was born circa 1901. He was the son of Charles Stubley and Isabella Dixon.

     Grace Stubley was born circa 1893 at England. She was the daughter of Charles Stubley and Isabella Dixon.

     Robert M Brearley was born circa 1887. He was the son of Robert Brearley and Clara Skelsey. In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the son of Robert Brearley at Swiss House, Batley.¹

     Thomas Brearley was born circa 1889. He was the son of Robert Brearley and Clara Skelsey. In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the son of Robert Brearley at Swiss House, Batley.¹

     Lucy Fitch was born circa 1864 at Howden. She was the daughter of John Stow Fitch. Lucy Fitch married Thomas Percival Brearley, son of Thomas Brearley and Hannah Morrell, on 14 November 1889 at Congregational church, Howden.¹

     John Stow Fitch was born circa 1834. He was the son of John Fitch.
