     Jeremiah Chadwick was born circa 1828. He was the son of John Chadwick and Susanna Wainwright. Jeremiah Chadwick was baptized on 26 October 1828 as son of John and Susan.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as aged 12, I believe staying with his great-uncle in the household of Joseph Chadwick at Up Lane, Batley.²
Jeremiah Chadwick died on 12 March 1879; at the Victoria Inn, Batley, aged 50.

     Susanah Senior was born on 25 August 1819 at Batley. She was the daughter of George Senior. Susanah Senior married John Hepworth Pyrah, son of Thomas Hepworth and Mary Thompson, on 1 April 1844 at St Peter's, Leeds.¹

     Clementia Jenkinson was born on 21 October 1821. She was baptized on 20 January 1822 at Wesleyan, Skelmanthorpe.
She married Samuel Senior, son of John Senior and Ann Haigh, in 1851.¹

     John Blackburn was born circa 1823 at Denby. He married Mary Anne Hirst, daughter of John Hirst and Mary Hobson, in 1848 at Wakefield.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Scissett as a hand weaver aged 28.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Scissett as a wool weaver.³
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at 58 Crossley Terrace, Halifax, as a worsted weaver.⁴

     Joseph Blackburn was born circa 1849 at Kitchenroyd. He was the son of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as aged 2 the son of John Blackburn at Scissett.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a finisher, woollen, aged 12 the son of John Blackburn at Scissett.²

     Mary Blackburn was born circa 1850 at Scissett. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as aged 9 months the daughter of John Blackburn at Scissett.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 10 the daughter of John Blackburn at Scissett.²

     James Hirst was born circa 1842 at Skelmanthorpe. He was the son of John Hirst and Grace (?). In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a scholar aged 8 the son of John Hirst at Common End, Skelmanthorpe.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a fancy waistcoat weaver the son of John Hirst at Common End, Skelmanthorpe.²

     Sarah Ann Hirst was born on 14 March 1847 at Skelmanthorpe.¹ She was the daughter of John Hirst and Grace (?). Sarah Ann Hirst was baptized on 20 May 1847 at St Nicholas, Cumberworth.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as aged 4 the daughter of John Hirst at Common End, Skelmanthorpe.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as a fancy weaver; skirts. the daughter of John Hirst at Common End, Skelmanthorpe.³
Sarah Ann Hirst married Aaron Moore (?) in 1869 at Huddersfield.⁴

     Aaron Moore (?) married Sarah Ann Hirst, daughter of John Hirst and Grace (?), in 1869 at Huddersfield.¹

     Hannah Hirst was born circa 1854 at Skelmanthorpe. She was the daughter of John Hirst and Grace (?). In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 6 the daughter of John Hirst at Common End, Skelmanthorpe.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as aged 16 the daughter of John Hirst at High Bridge Bar, Skelmanthorpe.²
Hannah Hirst married Frederick Taylor in 1880.³

     Seth Hirst was born in 1850 at Skelmanthorpe. He was the son of Bridget Hirst.

     Philip Tyas married Bridget Hirst, daughter of John Hirst and Mary Hobson, in 1857 at Wakefield.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Common End, Cumberworth.²

     Benjamin Asquith was born circa 1826 at Lee Fair. He married Frances Stubley, daughter of Joseph Stubley and Frances Smith, in 1881.

     Elizabeth Blackburn was born circa 1853 at Cumberworth. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 7 the daughter of John Blackburn at Scissett.¹

     Harriet Blackburn was born circa 1856 at Barnsley. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 4 the daughter of John Blackburn at Scissett.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a cotton & worsted twister the daughter of John Blackburn at 58 Crossley Terrace, Halifax.²
Harriet Blackburn married William Bateman in 1877 at Halifax.

     Sam Blackburn was born circa 1857 at Scissett. He was the son of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as aged 3 the son of John Blackburn at Scissett.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a grocer's assistant aged 13 the son of John Blackburn at 58 Crossley Terrace, Halifax.²

     Clarissa Blackburn was born circa 1862 at Scissett. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a worsted spinner and school girl. Aged 9, Clarissa would seem to be a young half-timer the daughter of John Blackburn at 58 Crossley Terrace, Halifax.¹

     Ann Blackburn was born circa 1864 at Scissett. She was the daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as aged 7 the daughter of John Blackburn at 58 Crossley Terrace, Halifax.¹

     William Bateman married Harriet Blackburn, daughter of John Blackburn and Mary Anne Hirst, in 1877 at Halifax.

     Elizabeth Cole was born on 2 January 1824. On 31 December 1843 Elizabeth Cole married George Markham Tweddell at the Parish Church, Stokesley.
In a letter to Isaac Binns George Markham said of his wife Elizabeth Cole "Those who labour under the gross delusion that literary tastes and talents are incompatible with household duties and domestic affections, need only know Mrs G.M. Tweddell to be convinced of their error."; with a biography of his wife, Elizabeth, whose work Isaac must have been interested in publishing.
Elizabeth Tweddell died in 1899.

     Elizabeth Hirst was born circa 1828. She was the daughter of John Hirst and Mary Hobson. In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as in the household of John Hirst at Cumberworth.¹

     Martha Senior was born circa 1852. She was the daughter of Samuel Senior and Clementia Jenkinson.

     Sam Senior was born in 1860. He was the son of Samuel Senior and Clementia Jenkinson.

     George Senior was born in 1799. He was the son of John Senior and Ann Haigh.
