     Harold Cartwright married Doris Irene Blackburn, daughter of Joseph Blackburn and Emmeline Newsome, in 1918.

     Alfred Oldroyd was born circa 1898 at Batley Carr. He was the son of Thomas Oldroyd and Eunice Ann Sykes. Alfred Oldroyd married Jane Parker, daughter of William Arthur Parker and Annie Blackburn, in 1922.¹
