     Elizabeth Nelson was born circa 1806 at Batley.¹ She married Joseph Pyrah, son of Mark Pyrah and Elizabeth Hardcastle, on 10 November 1822 at Tong.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 Elizabeth Pyrah was listed aged 45, at New Street, Batley, as wife of Joseph Pyrah.²

     Joseph Pyrah was born in 1823 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Joseph Pyrah was baptized on 19 May 1823 at Batley.¹

     Ann Pyrah was born in 1825 at Batley. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Ann Pyrah was baptized on 19 September 1825 at Batley.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as a filler of woollen aged 26 the daughter of Joseph Pyrah at New Street, Batley.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as housekeeper the niece of John Pyrah.³ In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a general servant aged 46 the niece of John Pyrah.⁴ In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as a housekeeper living with her uncle John Pyrah.⁵

     John Pyrah was born in 1827 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. John Pyrah was baptized on 9 September 1827 at Batley.¹
He died in 1846. He was buried on 4 January 1846 at Batley.¹

     Edwin Pyrah was born in 1830 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Edwin Pyrah was baptized on 6 March 1830 at Batley.¹
He married Susan Mortimer, daughter of Thomas Mortimer and Frances Smith, on 23 December 1849 at Batley.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Union Street, Batley, as a woollen spinner.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Peel Street, Batley, as a woollen spinner.³
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Dark Lane, Batley, as an overlooker.⁴
In the census of 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Bradford Road, Gomersal, as a scribbling overlooker.⁵

     Mark Pyrah was born in 1831. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Mark Pyrah was baptized on 17 June 1831 at Batley.¹
He died in 1833. He was buried on 9 May 1833 at Batley.¹

     Rachel Hardcastle Pyrah was born in 1833 at Batley. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Rachel Hardcastle Pyrah was baptized on 7 April 1833 at Batley.¹
She died in 1834. She was buried on 8 June 1834 at Batley.¹

     Mark Pyrah was born on 19 July 1835 at Batley.¹ He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Mark Pyrah was baptized on 2 October 1836 at Batley.²
He died in 1837. He was buried on 10 May 1837 at Batley.²

     George Pyrah was born in 1836 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. George Pyrah was baptized on 2 October 1836 at Batley.¹
He died in 1837 at Batley. He was buried on 29 January 1837 at Batley.¹

     Jane Pyrah was born in August 1838.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Jane Pyrah was baptized on 2 September 1838.¹

Jane Pyrah married Squire Day, son of John Day, on 31 March 1860 at Batley.³

     Alfred Pyrah was born on 20 May 1841.¹ He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Nelson. Alfred Pyrah was baptized on 23 June 1841.¹

     Hannah Akeroyd married Thomas Sheard Healey, son of Joseph Healey and Susan Sheard, in 1870.
In the census of 2 April 1871 Hannah Healey was listed at Healey Road, Batley, as wife of Thomas Sheard Healey.¹

     William Blakeley was born on 13 April 1767 at Batley. He was the son of Joshua Blakeley. William Blakeley was baptized on 20 April 1767 at Batley.¹

     Joshua Blakeley was born on 14 April 1764. He was the son of Joshua Blakeley. Joshua Blakeley was baptized on 13 May 1764 at Batley.¹

     Mary Blakeley was born on 14 July 1760. She was the daughter of Joshua Blakeley. Mary Blakeley was baptized on 17 August 1760 at Batley.¹

     John Blakeley was born in 1773. He was the son of Joshua Blakeley. John Blakeley was baptized on 10 February 1773 at Batley.¹
He died in 1773. He was buried on 24 March 1773 at Batley ; as son of Joshua Blakeley.¹

     Margaret (?) married John Hepworth, son of John Hepworth and Frances Newsome.¹

     Samuel Hepworth was born in 1816 at Ireland.¹ He was the son of John Hepworth and Margaret (?).¹ Samuel Hepworth married Esther Bailey, daughter of William Bailey, on 20 May 1838 at Batley.²
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Upper Batley as a wooll weaver.
In 1842 Samuel Hepworth emigrated to America Joan tells me that his son believed him to have been lost at sea, but she has been able to track him down later in Pennsylvania!¹

     Esther Bailey was born circa 1820. She was the daughter of William Bailey. Esther Bailey married Samuel Hepworth, son of John Hepworth and Margaret (?), on 20 May 1838 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Esther Hepworth was listed at Upper Batley as wife of Samuel Hepworth.

     William Bailey was born circa 1793 at Adwalton.

     John Blakeley was born circa 1852 at Batley. He was the son of Luke Blakeley and Rachel (?). In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a scholar aged 8 the son of Luke Blakeley at Day's Fold, Jno Ward's Hill, Batley.¹

     Jane Blakeley was born circa 1859 at Soothill. She was the daughter of Luke Blakeley and Rachel (?). In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 1 the daughter of Luke Blakeley at Day's Fold, Jno Ward's Hill, Batley.¹

     Joseph Hepworth was born circa 1818 at Ireland.¹ He was the son of John Hepworth and Margaret (?).¹
