     Robert H Hargreaves was born circa 1860. He was the son of Joshua Hargreaves and Mary Hall. In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as aged 1 the son of Joshua Hargreaves at Clerk Green, Batley.¹

     Charlotte Hall was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Benjamin Hall and Elizabeth Sheard. Charlotte Hall was baptized on 25 June 1832 at Batley.¹
She died in 1837. She was buried on 2 December 1837 ; aged 5.¹

     Alice Hall was born in 1836. She was the daughter of Benjamin Hall and Elizabeth Sheard. Alice Hall was baptized on 3 April 1836.¹
She died in 1837. She was buried on 18 April 1837 at Batley ; aged 1.¹

     Thomas Swales married Esther Ingham in 1873.

     Ann Booth was born on 14 August 1781. She was the daughter of Amos Booth and Hannah Thurman. Ann Booth was baptized on 17 September 1781.¹

     Sarah Booth was born on 26 January 1790. She was the daughter of Amos Booth and Hannah Thurman. Sarah Booth was baptized on 28 February 1790.¹

     Sarah Ann Duxbury was born circa 1832. She married Peter Thompson, son of John Thompson and Rachel Colbeck, in 1850.
In the census of 30 March 1851 Sarah Ann Thompson was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of Peter Thompson.¹
Sarah Ann Duxbury died in 1854. She was buried on 4 October 1854 at Batley ; aged 23.²

     John Thompson was born circa 1852. He was the son of Peter Thompson and Sarah Ann Duxbury. In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the son of Peter Thompson at Carlinghow, Batley.¹

     Sarah Ann Thompson was born circa 1856. She was the daughter of Peter Thompson and Mary Duxbury. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the daughter of Peter Thompson at Carlinghow, Batley.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as the daughter of Peter Thompson at Commercial Street, Batley.²

     Louisa A Jubb was born in 1871. She was the daughter of James Brook Jubb and Sarah Ellen Willans.

     Eunice Ann Sykes was born circa 1864. She married Thomas Oldroyd, son of Isaac Oldroyd, in 1892.¹

     Matthew Sykes married Sally Smithies, daughter of Isaac Smithies and Hannah Dixon, on 29 August 1796 at Batley witnesses were Joseph Waring and Grace Smithies.¹

     Sally Smithies was born on 5 June 1773. She was the daughter of Isaac Smithies and Hannah Dixon. Sally Smithies was baptized on 18 June 1773 at New Chapel Independent, Morley.
She married Matthew Sykes on 29 August 1796 at Batley witnesses were Joseph Waring and Grace Smithies.¹

     Mary Jane Whitton was born circa 1842. She married Charles Scholefield, son of Joshua Scholefield and Jane Sykes, in 1865 at Beverley.

     Edward Simpson Roberts was born on 14 September 1912. He was the son of Donald Edward Roberts and Mary Margaret Gaunt. Edward Simpson Roberts was baptized on 22 October 1912 at Centenary Methodist Church, Stanningley.¹
He served in the Green Howards, attaining the rank of Captain and, like his father in an earlier war, being awarded the Military Cross between 1939 and 1944.^2,3 He died on 1 June 1944 at Anzio, Italy, at age 31.^3,2 He was buried in 1944 at Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio.

     Gerald Philip Roberts was born on 15 December 1918. He was the son of Donald Edward Roberts and Mary Margaret Gaunt. Gerald Philip Roberts was baptized on 6 March 1919 at Centenary Methodist Church, Stanningley.¹
He followed in his father's footsteps in serving in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, attaining the rank of Major between 1939 and 1945. He died on 25 June 1944 at Tilly=sur-Seulles at age 25.² He was buried in June 1944 at War Cemetery, Tilly=sur-Seulles.²

     Donald M Roberts was born in 1921.¹ He was the son of Donald Edward Roberts and Mary Margaret Gaunt. Between 1939 and 1945 Donald M Roberts served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, at the time of his death described as flying officer (pilot).At that time the 186 squadron in which he served were based at Tuddenham in Suffolk, flying Lancaster bombers.² He died on 14 April 1945.² He was buried in 1945 at Haverhill Cemetery.²
