She was the daughter of William Newsome. Frances Newsome was also known as Fanny Newsome. She married John Hepworth on 25 January 1776 at Batley witnessed by William Newsome and Isdaac Thomas.1
Frances Newsome died in January 1817 at age 63. She was buried on 15 January 1817 at Batley aged 64. This fits well with the age of the Fanny Newsome baptised in 1753.1
