     Charlotte Roberts was born circa 1842. She was the daughter of Benjamin Roberts and Rebecca Hall.

     Bettey Roberts was born circa 1846 at East Ardsley. She was the daughter of Benjamin Roberts and Rebecca Hall.

     Sarah Gray was born circa 1812 at Warmsworth. She married James Hall, son of John Hall and Sarah Gledhill, on 5 May 1833 at Tong.¹

     Ann Hall was born circa 1845. She was the daughter of James Hall and Sarah Gray. In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as the daughter of James Hall at Purlwell.¹

     John Hall was born on 28 December 1849 at Batley.¹ He was the son of James Hall and Sarah Gray. John Hall was baptized on 3 March 1850 at Batley baptised on the same day as his cousin Sarah, daughter of Joseph and Ann Hall.¹

     Isabella Gledhill was born circa 1833 at Batley. She was the daughter of Thomas Gledhill and Ellen Keighley. Isabella Gledhill was baptized on 13 January 1833 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as the daughter of Thomas Gledhill at New Batley, Batley.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was presumably the one intended listed as a rag sorter but with no Christian name given the daughter of Thomas Gledhill at New Street, Batley.³
Isabella Gledhill married her cousin, Jeremiah Hall, son of Jeremiah Hall and Harriet Keighley, on 28 May 1855 at Batley.¹

     Ellen Keighley was born in 1808. She is the daughter of Matthew Keighley and Grace (?). Ellen Keighley was baptized on 26 October 1808 at Dewsbury.¹
She married Thomas Gledhill, son of John Gledhill and Susanna Newsome, on 16 August 1824 at Batley.²

     Rachel Hey was born in 1724. She was the daughter of Thomas Hey. Rachel Hey was baptized on 14 March 1724 at Batley.¹
She died in 1727. She was buried on 29 August 1727 at Batley.¹

     John Lambert married Emily Jane Jubb, daughter of Samuel Jubb and Frances Jane Knowles, on 25 September 1879 at St Thomas's Church, Batley.¹

     Elizabeth Exley was born circa 1820. She was the daughter of Samuel Exley and Elizabeth Nelson. Elizabeth Exley married Israel Colbeck, son of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson, on 3 August 1840 at Batley. Israel signed, Elizabeth made her mark.
At the time of marrriage he was described as a machine manufacturer. Witnesses were Samuel Haley and Joseph Chadwick.^1,2,3
In the census of 6 June 1841 Elizabeth Colbeck was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of Israel Colbeck.⁴
In the census of 30 March 1851 Elizabeth Colbeck was listed at Havercroft, N side Commercial St., Batley, as wife of Israel Colbeck.⁵
In 1869 Israel Colbeck and Elizabeth with their family are said to have moved to France, where he established himself as a shoddy merchant.²
She died on 7 April 1889 at 16 Quai de la Borde, Déville les Rouen, France.⁶

     Richard Marsland married Mary Ann Parr, daughter of Benjamin Parr and Elizabeth Sheard, on 19 September 1826 at Batley witnesses Samuel Parr and
Abraham Webster.¹

     Martha Cowling was born on 29 May 1802. She was the daughter of Abraham Cowling and Martha Chappel. Martha Cowling was baptized on 4 July 1802 at Batley.¹
She married Samuel Parr, son of Benjamin Parr and Elizabeth Sheard, on 3 March 1828 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Martha Parr was listed at Upper Batley as wife of Samuel Parr.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 Martha Parr was listed at Upper Batley as wife of Samuel Parr.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 Martha Parr was listed at Up Lane, Batley, as wife of Samuel Parr.⁴
Martha Cowling died in 1864. She was buried on 26 November 1864 at Batley.¹

     Sarah Jackson was born in 1827 at Mirfield. She was the daughter of William Jackson. Sarah Jackson was baptized on 3 June 1827 at Mirfield.¹
She married James Hall, son of George Hall and Mary Willans, on 19 November 1846 at Mirfield.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 Sarah Hall was listed at Daisy Hill, Dewsbury, as wife of James Hall.³
Sarah Hall married Edwin Auty on 16 February 1854 at Dewsbury.⁴

     Will Sheard was born on 6 April 1872.¹ He was the son of William Sheard and Emily Walker Fawcett.
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as a scholar aged 8 the son of William Sheard at Grosvenor road, Batley.²
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as aged 19, a solicitor's clerk the son of William Sheard at Bath Street, Batley.³
On 8 August 1896 Will Sheard married Mary Jane Wilson, daughter of Squire Wilson and Martha Sowerby, at St Saviour's Church, Ravensthorpe.⁴
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the head of household at Syke Terrace, Hipperholme, as a solicitor's clerk, law.⁵
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the head of household at 27 Orchard Street, Savile Town, Dewsbury, as a bankruptcy clerk, Board of Trade.⁶
Will Sheard sounds a less flamboyant character than his father, being described as a quiet and kindly man. He was successful in quite a different line, rising to be the Assistant Official Bankrutcy Receiver covering a large part of West Yorkshire.¹
He died on 14 October 1930 at Mirfield at age 58.¹ He was buried in October 1930 at the Parish Churchyard, Mirfield.

     John Hartley Webster was born in 1839. He was the son of Samuel Webster and Maria Hartley. John Hartley Webster married Emily Walker Fawcett, daughter of George Fawcett and Eliza Walker, in 1860 at Leeds.^1,2
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a woollen cloth dresser the son of Samuel Webster at Leeds.³
John Hartley Webster died in 1865 at Leeds.

     George Fawcett was born in 1813 at Ripon. He was the son of James Fawcett.¹ George Fawcett married Eliza Walker on 24 November 1835 at St Peters, Leeds.^1,2
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Plum Sreet, Leeds, as a shoe m.
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at 54 Accommodation St, Now Green Rd, Leeds, as a shoe maker.³
In 1854 George Fawcett was was listed as a shoemaker at Green St.⁴
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at 19 Derby Street, Leeds.⁵
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at 45 Darley St, Leeds, as a boot and shoe maker.⁶
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at 65 Tramway St, Leeds, as a boot and shoe warehouseman. there is also a boarder, Henry Jackson, a telegraph clerk.⁷
He was listed in the census of 31 March 1901 at 33 Bath Street, Batley, as living on his own means, with his daughter; as a widow living on her own means.⁸

     Mary Elizabeth Pearson was born circa 1870 at Batley. She was the daughter of James Pearson and Amelia Holden. Mary Elizabeth Pearson married Harry Sheard, son of William Sheard and Emily Walker Fawcett, on 9 July 1889 at Batley.^1,2
In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as a housekeeper, listed as step-daughter, but appears as full daughter in previous censuses. the daughter of James Pearson at Black Bull Inn, Commercial Street, Batley.³
In the census of 31 March 1901 Mary Elizabeth Sheard was listed at 1 Woodwell St (and shop), Batley, as wife of Harry Sheard.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1911 Mary Elizabeth Sheard was listed at 136 Egerton Road, Blackpool, as wife of Harry Sheard.⁵

     Mary Jane Wilson was born on 21 September 1869 at Falhouse, Briestfield.¹ She was the daughter of Squire Wilson and Martha Sowerby. Her father was described as a coal miner at that time.
In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as a dress maker the daughter of Squire Wilson at Huddersfield Rd, Ravensthorpe.²
Mary Jane Wilson married Will Sheard, son of William Sheard and Emily Walker Fawcett, on 8 August 1896 at St Saviour's Church, Ravensthorpe.³
