     Sarah Law was born on 11 February 1812 at Batley. She was the daughter of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Sarah Law was baptized on 29 March 1812 at Batley.

     James Law was born in 1813 at Batley. He was the son of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. James Law was baptized on 27 June 1813 at Batley.¹

     Abraham Law was born in 1817 at Batley. He was the son of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Abraham Law was baptized on 17 September 1817 at Batley.
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as a spinner the son of Lydia Law at Wall St, Heaton Norris, Stockport.¹
Abraham Law married his cousin Ann Parr, daughter of Benjamin Parr and Elizabeth Sheard, in 1844.^2,3
In the census of 1851 he was listed as the head of household at 13 Baltic Street, Louth, Midlothian, Scotland, as a rag merchant.⁴
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Law St, Batley, Commercial Traveller.⁵

     Catherine Law was born in 1819 at Batley. She was the daughter of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Catherine Law was baptized on 3 October 1819 at Batley.
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as a weaver the daughter of Lydia Law at Wall St, Heaton Norris, Stockport.¹
Catherine Law married Robert Barrett, son of Ann Barrett, in 1842.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 Catherine Barrett was listed at 57 Medlock St, Hulme, Manchester, as wife of Robert Barrett.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 Catherine Barrett was listed at 2 Haworth St, Salford, as wife of Robert Barrett.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 Catherine Barrett was listed at Rose Cottage, 89 High St West, Salford, as wife of Robert Barrett.⁵

     Isaac Law was born in 1822 at Batley. He was the son of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Isaac Law was baptized on 13 January 1822 at Batley.
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as a weaver the son of Lydia Law at Wall St, Heaton Norris, Stockport.¹

     Samuel Law was born in 1815 at Batley. He was the son of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Samuel Law was baptized on 18 September 1815 at Batley.
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as an overlooker aged 45, described as unmarried lodging in the household of carter William Norbury at 21 Branson St, New Cross, Manchester.¹

     Rebecca Law was born in 1822 at Batley. She was the daughter of Benjamin Law and Lydia Sheard. Rebecca Law was baptized on 13 January 1822 at Batley.
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as a weaver the daughter of Lydia Law at Wall St, Heaton Norris, Stockport.¹
Rebecca Law appeared as a weaver. on the census of 30 March 1851 as a lodger in the household of Alice Munro at Coronation Street, Stockport.²

     Joseph Chadwick was born on 11 November 1780. He was the son of Jeremiah Chadwick and Hannah Stubley. Joseph Chadwick was baptized on 10 December 1780 at Batley.

     Eleanor Thurman was born in 1766. She was the daughter of John Thurman and Deborah Wilby. Eleanor Thurman was baptized on 5 October 1766 at Batley.
She married Joseph Blakeley, son of David Blakeley and Ann Preston, on 27 December 1787 at Thornhill.

     Benjamin Blakeley was born on 8 April 1794 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Benjamin Blakeley was baptized on 4 May 1794 at Batley.
He married Elizabeth Blacker on 16 January 1815 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
Benjamin Blakeley died in July 1819 at age 25. He was buried on 19 July 1819 ; as of Manchester.¹

     Harriot Blakeley was born on 14 April 1796 at Batley. She was the daughter of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Harriot Blakeley was baptized on 4 May 1796 at Batley.
She married William Wood on 22 November 1813 at Batley witnesses Thomas Parr and Jeremiah Chadwick.¹

     Thomas Blakeley was born on 14 February 1798 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Thomas Blakeley was baptized on 8 April 1798 at Batley.
He died in 1836. He was buried on 10 June 1836 at Batley.¹

     Joseph Blakeley was born on 7 March 1800 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Joseph Blakeley was baptized on 13 April 1800 at Batley.

     Mary Blakeley was born on 7 March 1800 at Batley. She was the daughter of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Mary Blakeley was baptized on 13 April 1800 at Batley.
She married Michael Hemingway on 5 January 1826 at Dewsbury by licence. Witnesses were George Blakeley and William Hainsworth.¹

     William Blakeley was born on 24 March 1802 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. William Blakeley was baptized on 14 April 1802 at Batley.
He died in 1810. He was buried on 4 February 1810 at Batley.¹

     Robert Blakeley was born on 15 April 1804 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Robert Blakeley was baptized on 1 June 1804 at Batley.
He married Mary Whitehead on 9 December 1827 at Dewsbury Witnesses were John and George Blakeley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Batley Carr Road, Dewsbury, as a rag merchant. there are two domestic servants, May Pearce and Hannah Burton.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at 4 Bradford Road, Dewsbury, as a manufacturer, (woollen cloth). there are two domestic servants, Mary and Hannah Kilburn.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Spring Field Terrace, Dewsbury, as a widower, a woollen rag merchant.⁴
In 1864 Robert Blakeley and Sons were listed as manufacturers of English and Importers of foreign shoddy and mungo, at Bradford Road, Dewsbury.⁵
He died on 8 March 1869 at age 64.

     Matthew Blakeley was born on 27 June 1812 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard. Matthew Blakeley was baptized on 16 August 1812 at Batley.
He married Harriet Windle on 7 February 1842 at Horbury.¹
Matthew Blakeley died on 1 March 1860 at Dewsbury at age 47. He was buried on 4 March 1860 ; aged 47, as of Dewsbury.²

     Elizabeth Blacker married Benjamin Blakeley, son of Joseph Blakeley and Mary Sheard, on 16 January 1815 at Parish Church, Batley.¹

     Hannah Walker married Michael Spedding, son of Robert Spedding, on 4 May 1758 at Batley.¹
Hannah Spedding died on 6 August 1801; aged 64 years.²

     Ann Carter married Benjamin Spedding, son of Robert Spedding, on 27 January 1772 at Dewsbury Benjamin is described as of Batley, a butcher.¹
Ann Carter died in 1774 at Dewsbury.

     Hannah Ward married Benjamin Spedding, son of Robert Spedding, on 27 August 1778 at Dewsbury Benjamin is described as a widower, a butcher; both are now of Dewsbury.¹
Hannah Ward died in 1829 at Daw Green, Dewsbury.

     Samuel Spedding was born on 16 February 1806 at Batley.¹ He was the son of Robert Spedding and Ann Virr. Samuel Spedding was baptized on 16 March 1806 at Batley.¹
He died in 1806. He was buried on 14 September 1806 at Batley.¹

     Hannah Spedding was born on 21 February 1807 at Batley.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Spedding and Ann Virr. Hannah Spedding was baptized on 3 March 1807 at Batley.¹
