     Robert Spedding was born in 1740 at Batley. He was the son of Robert Spedding. Robert Spedding was baptized on 31 January 1740/41 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
He died in 1757 at Batley. He was buried on 29 May 1757 at Batley.¹

     Joshua Spedding was born in 1743 at Batley. He was the son of Robert Spedding. Joshua Spedding was baptized on 19 February 1742/43 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
He died in 1745. He was buried on 9 May 1745 at Batley.¹

     Grace Spedding was born in 1750. She was the daughter of Robert Spedding. Grace Spedding was baptized on 12 August 1750 at Batley.¹
She married Benjamin Beaumont, son of Benjamin Beaumont and Mary Ling, on 19 August 1773 at Batley witnesses David Healey and Joseph Beaumont.¹
Grace Spedding died in 1821. She was buried on 1 July 1821 at Batley ; aged 70.¹

     George Spedding was born in 1762. He was the son of Robert Spedding. George Spedding was baptized on 24 November 1762 at Batley.¹

     Hannah Spedding was born in 1755 at Batley. She was the daughter of Robert Spedding. Hannah Spedding was baptized on 21 November 1755 at Batley.¹
She died in 1773.

     Samuel Spedding was born in 1758 at Batley. He was the son of Robert Spedding. Samuel Spedding was baptized on 31 March 1758 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
He married Hannah Stubley, daughter of Abraham Stubley and Noah Eastwood, on 29 April 1784 at Batley in the presence of Thomas Thompson, John Spedding, Thomas Parr and John Chadwick. Samuel wrote his name, Hannah made her mark.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Batley as a cow jobber.²
Samuel Spedding died in 1844 at Batley. He was buried on 11 January 1844 at Batley.

She married Samuel Spedding, son of Robert Spedding, on 29 April 1784 at Batley in the presence of Thomas Thompson, John Spedding, Thomas Parr and John Chadwick. Samuel wrote his name, Hannah made her mark.¹

     Nancy Stubley was born in 1764 at Batley. She was the daughter of Abraham Stubley and Noah Eastwood. Nancy Stubley was baptized on 11 November 1764 at Batley.¹
She died in 1766 at Batley; aand was buried as Ann Stubley.

     Samuel Colbeck was born on 30 November 1780.¹ He was the son of Henry Colbeck and Millicent Nowell. Samuel Colbeck was baptized on 25 December 1780 at Batley.¹
He married Hannah Durrans on 5 January 1801 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a shopkeeper.²
Samuel Colbeck died on 10 February 1853 at age 72.^3,4 He was buried on 14 February 1853 at Batley ; aged 72.¹

     Robert Spedding was born on 22 June 1784. He was the son of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Robert Spedding was baptized on 18 July 1784 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
He married Ann Virr, daughter of Betty Virr, on 23 January 1806 at Parish Church, Batley, witnesses Benjamin Beaumont and Joe Wortley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Back Lane, Batley, as a butcher.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Batley as a master butcher.³
Robert Spedding died in 1853. He was buried on 29 May 1853 at Batley ; aged 68.¹ Robert Spedding was described in a notice concerning the settlement of his estate as butcher and veterinarian.⁴

     Joshua Spedding was born on 14 October 1785.¹ He was the son of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Joshua Spedding was baptized on 16 November 1785 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
He witnessed the marriage of Joseph Stubley and Mary Denton on 31 October 1809 at Batley.¹

     James Spedding was born on 30 October 1786.¹ He was the son of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. James Spedding was baptized on 3 December 1786 at Batley.¹

     Elizabeth Spedding was born on 28 February 1787. She was the daughter of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Elizabeth Spedding was baptized on 5 March 1787 at Batley.
She died in June 1788 at age 1. She was buried on 15 June 1788 at Batley.¹

     Mary Spedding was born on 16 October 1791.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Mary Spedding was baptized on 6 November 1791 at Parish Church, Batley.¹

     Grace Spedding was born on 20 August 1792.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Grace Spedding was baptized on 18 September 1792 at Batley.¹
She died in 1792. She was buried on 29 September 1792 at Batley.¹

     Samuel Spedding was born on 26 September 1793.¹ He was the son of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Samuel Spedding was baptized on 29 December 1793 at Parish Church, Batley.¹

     Jane Spedding was born on 7 February 1796.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Jane Spedding was baptized on 6 March 1796 at Batley.¹

     Charles Spedding was born on 10 January 1798 at Batley. He was the son of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Charles Spedding was baptized on 9 March 1798 at Batley.
He married Hannah Clapham, daughter of George Clapham and Martha Walker, on 14 October 1819 at Batley both write.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as a cow jobber the son of Samuel Spedding.² In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Chuch Street, Dewsbury, as a cattle dealer.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Wilton Square, Dewsbury, as a butcher, now listed as deaf.⁴

     Hannah Spedding was born on 8 January 1800.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Spedding and Hannah Stubley. Hannah Spedding was baptized on 26 January 1800 at Batley.¹

     Mary Louisa Walshaw was born on 25 April 1861 at Heckmondwike.¹ She was the daughter of Joshua Walshaw and Eliza Pickles. Mary Louisa Walshaw was baptized on 24 August 1861 at Birstall.¹
She married Isaac Blackburn, son of John Blackburn and Sarah Preston, in 1885 at Scarborough.²
Mary Louisa Blackburn alive in 1937, as she received an annuity of £52 pa in will of her brother-in-law John William Blackburn.

     Amy Blackburn was born in 1886 at Niederschönweide, Germany. She was the daughter of Isaac Blackburn and Mary Louisa Walshaw.
In the census of 31 March 1901Amy Blackburn was listed staying with her cousin Arthur Walter Hanstock at York Road, Batley.¹
In the census of 2 April 1911 she was listed as a housemaid, private house, the daughter of Isaac Blackburn at 8 Clough Road, Hull.²
Amy Blackburn married Harold R. Thomas in 1917 at Scarborough.³
Amy Blackburn died in 1981.

     Harold R. Thomas was born in 1885. He married Amy Blackburn, daughter of Isaac Blackburn and Mary Louisa Walshaw, in 1917 at Scarborough.¹
Harold R. Thomas died in 1969.

     George Blackburn was born circa 1892 at Niederschönweide, Germany. He was the son of Isaac Blackburn and Mary Louisa Walshaw.
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as an engineer, corn trade, aged 19 the son of Isaac Blackburn at 8 Clough Road, Hull.¹

     Elsa Blackburn was born in 1896 at Niederschönweide, Germany. She was the daughter of Isaac Blackburn and Mary Louisa Walshaw.
