     Elizabeth A Hepworth was born circa 1853. She was the daughter of Joseph Hepworth and Hannah Akeroyd. In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as the niece of John Jubb.¹ Elizabeth A Hepworth married Joseph William Jubb, son of Samuel Jubb and Frances Jane Knowles, on 23 March 1882 at St Thomas's, Batley, witnesses were Mary Hepworth and Herbert Jubb.²

     Ada G Hepworth was born circa 1855. She was the daughter of Joseph Hepworth and Hannah Akeroyd.

     Robert Hodgson Law (?) married Ellen Blamire Hepworth, daughter of Joseph Hepworth and Hannah Akeroyd, in 1875 at Leeds.¹

     John Taylor was born on 3 February 1793.¹ He was the son of James Taylor and Elizabeth Gledhill.¹ John Taylor was baptized on 3 March 1793 at Batley.¹

     Rachell Taylor was born on 24 August 1803.¹ She was the daughter of James Taylor and Elizabeth Gledhill. Rachell Taylor was baptized on 18 September 1803 at Batley.¹

     Mary Taylor was born on 25 June 1797.¹ She was the daughter of James Taylor and Elizabeth Gledhill.¹ Mary Taylor was baptized on 30 July 1797 at Batley.¹

     Ann (?) was born circa 1820. She married Benjamin Chappel, son of Joseph Chappel and Letitia Newsome.
In the census of 6 June 1841 Ann Chappel was listed at Back Lane, Batley, as wife of Benjamin Chappel.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as a cloth burler the daughter-in-law of Letitia Newsome.² In the census of 7 April 1861 Ann Chappel was listed at Commercial Street, Batley, as wife of Benjamin Chappel.³

     Sarah Chappel was born circa 1851. She was the daughter of Benjamin Chappel and Ann (?). In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the daughter of Benjamin Chappel at Commercial Street, Batley.¹
Sarah Chappel married George Pyrah Senior, son of James Senior and Jemima Pyrah, in 1870.²
In the census of 2 April 1871 Sarah Senior was listed at Providence Street, Batley, as wife of George Pyrah Senior.³

     George Pyrah Senior was born circa 1848 at Batley. He was the son of James Senior and Jemima Pyrah. George Pyrah Senior married Sarah Chappel, daughter of Benjamin Chappel and Ann (?), in 1870.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Providence Street, Batley, as a cloth dresser.²

     James Senior was born circa 1804 at Batley. He married Jemima Pyrah, daughter of George Pyrah and Susanna Peel, on 14 April 1827 at Batley.¹

     Ruth Senior was born in 1841. She was the daughter of James Senior and Jemima Pyrah. Ruth Senior was baptized on 10 October 1841 at Batley.¹

     Mary Clapham was born in 1816. She was the daughter of Thomas Clapham and Elizabeth Chadwick. Mary Clapham was baptized on 8 September 1816 at Birstall.
She married George Sands in 1841.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 Mary Sands was listed at Top of Birstall, Birstall, as wife of George Sands.²
She was listed in the census of 7 April 1861 at Peel Street, Batley, as a widow, a school mistress.

     George Sands married Mary Clapham, daughter of Thomas Clapham and Elizabeth Chadwick, in 1841.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Top of Birstall, Birstall, as a plasterer. there is a servant, Hannah Sheard, aged 14, born Birstall.²

     Joshua Walshaw married Eliza Pickles on 6 January 1859 at Birstall at the time of his marriage Joshua was described as a boiler-maker, son of blacksmith Joseph Walshaw. Witnesses were Samuel Wharton and George Bromly.¹

     Annie Wimpenny married Mark Ingham Blackburn, son of William Blackburn and Flora Annie Sykes, on 21 December 1912 at St John's Church, Carlinghow, Batley.¹

     Willie Binns was born circa 1903 at Batley. He was the son of Abraham Arthur Binns and Florence Singleton. In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the son of Abraham Arthur Binns at 88A Purlwell Lane, Batley.¹

     Ann Wainwright was born circa 1824 at West Ardsley. She was the daughter of John Wainwright. Ann Wainwright married Simeon Colbeck, son of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson, on 21 June 1847 at the Parish Church, Wakefield, Simeon is entered as a traveller and Ann as a servant, both of King St. at time of marriage. Witnesses were W Henry Colbeck and Eliza Wainwright. In a newspaper entry Simeon's occupation is given as traveller, and he is described as of London, and Ann of Ardsley.¹

In the census of 2 April 1871 Ann Colbeck was listed at Haigh Moor, West Ardsley, as wife of Simeon Colbeck.³

     Elizabeth Chadwick Sands was born in 1843. She was the daughter of George Sands and Mary Clapham. Elizabeth Chadwick Sands was baptized on 20 March 1843 at Birstall.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as a scholar age 8 the granddaughter of Thomas Clapham.²
Elizabeth Chadwick Sands continued to live with her grandfather, and remained in Birstall after his death. Her home was Birstall Old Hall, illustrated here.

     Dick Stubley was born circa 1866 at Batley Carr, Dewsbury. He was the son of Mark Stubley and Elizabeth Exley. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the son of Mark Stubley at Upper Road, Dewsbury.¹
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as a piecer in a woollen mill the son of Mark Stubley at Upper Road, Dewsbury.²
In an unknown date Dick Stubley He went to India in 1893, serving on the Punjab frontier. He was awarded a medal with bars commemorating Tirah 1897-8 and Punjab Frontier 1897-8.³ In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the head of household at 76 Oldroyd's Yard, Town St., Batley, as a woollier. Ada Whittingham, a housekeeper, is also with the family.⁴
He married Alice Ainley in 1902.⁵
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the head of household at 21 Crackenedge Lane, Dewsbury, as a motor car driver, tramway.

     George Clapham was born in 1784. He was the son of Thomas Clapham and Christiana Bawmfirth. George Clapham was baptized on 22 February 1784 at Birstall.¹
