     Ann Beaumont was born on 23 February 1779. She was the daughter of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Ann Beaumont was baptized on 6 April 1779 at Batley.¹
She married Robert Illingworth on 8 August 1799 at Batley.¹
Ann Illingworth married Abraham Newsome, son of Squire Newsome and Mary Scarfe, on 23 September 1832 at Tong.
In the census of 6 June 1841 Ann Newsome was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of Abraham Newsome.²
She was listed in the census of 30 March 1851 at Pack Horse Yard, Huddersfield, with her son William Illingworth. Ann Newsome died in 1852. She was buried on 28 September 1852 ; aged 73.¹

     Hannah Beaumont was born on 25 March 1777. She was the daughter of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Hannah Beaumont was baptized on 30 May 1777 at Batley.¹

     Mary Beaumont was born on 4 July 1782. She was the daughter of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Mary Beaumont was baptized on 21 August 1782 at Batley.¹

     Susanna Beaumont was born on 6 August 1785. She was the daughter of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Susanna Beaumont was baptized on 18 September 1785 at Batley.¹

     Harriot Beaumont was born in 1794. She was the daughter of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Harriot Beaumont was baptized on 29 June 1794 at Batley.¹

     Thomas Beaumont was born on 22 March 1792. He was the son of Benjamin Beaumont and Grace Spedding. Thomas Beaumont was baptized on 6 April 1792 at Batley.¹

     Mary Nussey was born on 27 November 1788.¹ She was the daughter of Joshua Nussey and Sarah Clapham. Mary Nussey was baptized on 1 January 1789 at Batley.¹
She is probably the Mary Nussey who appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 in the household of her brother John Nussey at Batley.² Mary Nussey appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 in the household of John Nussey at White Lee, Batley.³

     Henry Nussey was born circa 1812. He was the son of John Nussey and Ellen Wade.

     Thomas Clapham was born in 1791. He was the son of Thomas Clapham and Christiana Bawmfirth. Thomas Clapham was baptized on 6 March 1791 at Birstall.¹
He married Elizabeth Chadwick, daughter of John Chadwick and Elizabeth Gaunt, on 4 November 1813 at Batley They were married by licence, and both write their names. Thomas is described as of Birstall. Witnesses were Ann Hartley and Hannah Smith. I lack absolute proof that this is the right Elizabeth, but the age fits and her brother Jeremiah married Thomas's sister.² In 1818 Thomas Clapham leased Oakwell Hall at Birstall.³
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Birstall T Street, Gomersal, as a widower aged 60, a maltster employing 1 man.⁴

     Elizabeth Chadwick was born on 26 November 1787 at Batley. She was the daughter of John Chadwick and Elizabeth Gaunt. Elizabeth Chadwick was baptized on 16 January 1788 at Batley.¹

In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as the daughter of Sarah Spedding at Aldams Mill yard, Dewsbury.⁵
Sarah Spedding married George Henry Oldroyd, son of George Oldroyd and Elizabeth Oates, on 30 August 1888 at the Parish Church, Dewsbury.⁶

     Thomas Newsome Spedding was born in 1850 at Batley. He was the son of Thomas Spedding and Sarah Newsome. Thomas Newsome Spedding was baptized on 29 September 1850 at Batley.¹

In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as an apprentice manufacturer the son of Sarah Spedding at Aldams Yard, Dewsbury.³

      Jesse Idle was also known as Jesse Idal. He married Janet Stubley, daughter of George Stubley and Hannah Lister, in 1851.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at J Ward's Hill, Batley, as a cloth weaver aged 19.²
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the head of household at Bradford Road, No. 47, Batley, as a hand loom weaver aged 59. granson Herbert Idle, aged 5, is also present.³

Richard Smith married Catherine Hepworth, daughter of Thomas Hepworth and Mary (?), in 1859.
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as as a lodger, a woollen spinner the son of Joseph Smith at New Street, Batley.³
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a spinner the son-in-law of Thomas Hepworth.⁴

In the census of 6 June 1841 Sarah (?) was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of John Smith.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 Sarah (?) was listed at N Side Commercial St, Havercroft, Batley, as wife of John Smith.²
Sarah Smith died on 18 April 1852; aged 51 years.³ She was buried in 1852 at The Churchyard, Otley.³

     Richard Smith was born in March 1828. He was the son of John Smith and Sarah (?). Richard Smith was baptized on 29 April 1828 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as aged 13 the son of John Smith at Havercroft, Batley.²
Richard Smith married Martha Galloway, daughter of John Galloway and Patience Saville, on 2 July 1846.¹
