     Abraham Talbot was born on 21 November 1828 at Batley. He was the son of John Talbot and Hannah Slater. Abraham Talbot was baptized on 11 December 1828 at Zion Chapel, Dewsbury.1
Hewas a 7th son.

In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the son of John Talbot at Havercroft, Batley.2
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a woollen rag dealer aged 22 the son of John Talbot at Havercroft, Batley.3
Abraham Talbot married Mary Barraclough in 1859.1
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Middlethorp, Morley, as a rag merchant.4
Abraham Talbot and Henry Sheard were said to have been two of the partners in the Alexandra Mill Company.5
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at King Street, Batley, as a Manufacturer.6
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Bromley Road, Soothill, as a woollen manufacturer.7

He was listed in the census of 31 March 1901 at 13 Bath Street, Batley.9

     Joe Fernandes Sheard was born on 10 April 1861.1 He was the son of Samuel Sheard and Agnes Sheard. Joe Fernandes Sheard was baptized on 2 June 1861 at Batley.1
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a scholar aged 6 the son of Samuel Sheard at 15 St George's Square, Batley.2
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as a clerk ----- County Court Office at Cornmarket, Pontefract,with his sister Anne and her husband William Ackroyd Chappell.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 Joe Fernandes Sheard appeared as a County Court Clerk in the household of William Hall, once Batley's constable and later a Superintendent of Police, and his wife Eliza at Elm Villa, Tanshelf, Pontefract.4
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the head of household at Ackworth Road, Pontefract, as clerk in County Court Office, now with two of his sisters living with him.
Joe Fernandes Sheard died on 1 April 1933 at age 71.5

     Frank Sheard was born circa 1864. He was the son of Samuel Sheard and Agnes Sheard. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a scholar aged 6 the son of Samuel Sheard at 15 St George's Square, Batley.1
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as a lawyer's clerk the son of Samuel Sheard at Park Road (Stanley Terrace), Batley.2
Frank Sheard was a fellow passenger on the voyage when Jacob Sheard and Ann Sheard arrived in Little Falls, NY having sailed on the Wisconsin with three children, Isaac, Florence and Alice, arriving in New York on the 19th June. in 1883.3,4
Frank Sheard sailed to America in the company of his cousin once removed Jacob Sheard and family.
Frank Sheard married Kate Newell, daughter of Charles A Newell and Maria (?), in 1899.
In the census of April 1910 he was listed as the head of household at Greece, Monroe, New York, as superintendent of a Cemetery.5
In 1926 Frank and Kate made a visit to England, sailing from Montreal on the Aurania and arriving in Liverpool on June 13th, giving their destination as Pontefract where Frank's brother Joe had been living.
They returned to New York in August on the Adriatic, arriving there on the 29th.4
In the census of 2 April 1930 he was listed as the head of household at 265 Burley Road, Rochester, Monroe, New York, as a cemetery superintendent.6
Frank Sheard died in 1951.

     Ada Sheard died presumably before the birth of a sister of the same name in 1868. She was born on 7 April 1857 at Batley.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Sheard and Agnes Sheard. Ada Sheard was baptized on 5 May 1857 at Batley.1

     Sophia Helliwell was born circa 1836 at Morley. She was the daughter of John Helliwell. Sophia Helliwell married Jeremiah Chappell, son of Richard Chappell, in 1857.1
In the census of 7 April 1861 Sophia Chappell was listed at Back Lane, Morley, as wife of Jeremiah Chappell.2
Sophia Chappell married Samuel Sheard, son of David Sheard and Martha Talbot, on 6 August 1872 at St Thomas, Batley.3,4
In the census of 3 April 1881 Sophia Sheard was listed at Park Road (Stanley Terrace), Batley, as wife of Samuel Sheard.5
In the census of 5 April 1891 Sophia Sheard was listed at Grosvenor Road, Batley, as wife of Samuel Sheard.6
Sophia Sheard died in 1896; aged 59.7

Ann Ward

     Ann Ward married Thomas Nightingale on 8 December 1788 at Dewsbury by licence. Thomas was described as a woolstapler. Witnesse were Abraham Hemingway and ? Sykes.1
Ann Nightingale died on 18 July 1793. She her gravestone says she died in her 31st year.2

On 8 June 1814 an Elizabeth Nightingale of Dewsbury buried at Gisburn as aged 82.
