     Lawrence Ingraham Taylor was born circa 1878. He was the son of Theodore Cooke Taylor and Sarah Jane Ingraham. In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the son of Theodore Cooke Taylor at Bottom of Healey, Batley.¹
Lawrence Ingraham Taylor died in 1883.

     Frances Womersley was born circa 1852 at Sandal. She married Preston Sheard, son of Joseph Sheard and Martha Preston, in 1873.¹
In the census of 3 April 1881 Frances Sheard was listed at High St, Batley, as a news agent, wife of Preston Sheard.²

     James Pearson was born circa 1843. He married Amelia Holden in 1868.
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the head of household at Black Bull Inn, Commercial Street, Batley, as a licensed victualler.¹

     Amelia Holden was born circa 1849. She married James Pearson in 1868.

     Alice Pearson was born circa 1872. She was the daughter of James Pearson and Amelia Holden. In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as an assistant the daughter of James Pearson at Black Bull Inn, Commercial Street, Batley.¹

     John Hy Pearson was born circa 1874. He was the son of James Pearson and Amelia Holden. In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as a butcher's assistant the son of James Pearson at Black Bull Inn, Commercial Street, Batley.¹

     John Thomas Denton married Mary Ellen Ineson, daughter of John Ineson and Elizabeth (?).

     John Ineson was born circa 1830. He married Elizabeth (?).

     Elizabeth (?) was born circa 1831. She married John Ineson.

     Florence Sheard was born circa 1900 at Blackpool, Lancashire. She was the daughter of Frederick Sheard and Mary Ellen Ineson.

     Josiah Greaves was born circa 1840 at Dewsbury. He was the son of James Greaves and Hannah Mallinson. Josiah Greaves married Jane Whitworth, daughter of Charles Whitworth and Maria Nightingale, on 25 August 1863. Sadly Josiah was to die after less than a year of marriage, and their only child, a daughter, was born posthumously.¹
Josiah Greaves died on 14 May 1864 at Douai, Nord, France.¹

     Ann (?) married Thomas Hall, son of Joseph Hall and Ann Turner.
In the census of 30 March 1851 Ann Hall was listed as wife of Thomas Hall.
In the census of 7 April 1861 Ann Hall was listed at New Street, Batley, as wife of Thomas Hall.¹

     Thomas Hall was born circa 1837. He was the son of Thomas Hall and Keziah Bickers. In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the son of Thomas Hall at New Batley.¹

     Isabel Elisabeth Wright was born circa 1895. She married Charles James Parker, son of Alfred Parker and Emma Sheard, in 1914 at Toronto, York, Canada.

     Thomas Hudswell was born in 1823 at Batley. He was the son of Jeremiah Hudswell and Elizabeth Pyrah. Thomas Hudswell was baptized on 23 March 1823 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the son of Jeremiah Hudswell at Up Lane, Batley.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as as a woollen manufacturer the son of Jeremiah Hudswell at Up Lane, Batley.³

     Benjamin Hudswell was born in 1821 at Batley. He was the son of Jeremiah Hudswell and Elizabeth Pyrah. Benjamin Hudswell was baptized on 29 April 1821 at Batley.¹
He married Jane Spedding, daughter of Robert Spedding and Ann Virr, on 25 September 1843 at St Peter, Leeds, Witnesses were Edwin Hudswell and William Spedding.²

     Edwin Hudswell was born in 1825 at Batley. He was the son of Jeremiah Hudswell and Elizabeth Pyrah. Edwin Hudswell was baptized on 23 May 1825 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the son of Jeremiah Hudswell at Up Lane, Batley.²

In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Providence Street, Batley, as a whitesmith and bell-hanger.³
It would, according to a later account have been in about .⁴
In 1866 Edwin who worked for Dodgshuns in Germany is likely to have been behind this message presumed to be in search of his brother Jeremiah who was in Australia.
A newspaper account in 1870 tells us that about 13 years earlier Edwin had been in financial difficulties and obliged to compound with his creditors. In fact although legally he had no further obligation, to them, being now in a position to pay them he invited them to the offices of his then employers, Messrs Isaac Dodgshun & Co. of Leeds to receive the remaining part of what he owed them; even offering interest on it, which they declined.⁴

     Joseph Hudswell was born in 1819 at Batley. He was the son of Jeremiah Hudswell and Elizabeth Pyrah. Joseph Hudswell was baptized on 27 June 1819 at Batley.¹
He married Euphemia Mary Jackson on 1 April 1869 at St Giles, Pontefract, Joseph is described as an engineer, a widower, and his address is given as St Mary-Le-Bow, London.²

     Mary Hudswell was born circa 1832. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Hudswell and Elizabeth Pyrah. Mary Hudswell was baptized on 13 January 1833 at Batley.¹
