     John Blakeley was born circa 1822 at Batley. He married Margaret Terry, daughter of Mark Terry and Elizabeth Ineson, in 1850.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a clothier, weaver, aged 29 the son-in-law of Mark Terry.²

     Benjamin Terry was born in 1823. He was the son of Mark Terry and Elizabeth Ineson. Benjamin Terry was baptized on 16 February 1823 at Batley.¹

     Bathsheba Healey was born on 25 February 1802. She was the daughter of John Healey and Alice Carr. Bathsheba Healey was baptized on 30 April 1802 at Batley.¹
She married Thomas Hall, son of Joseph Hall and Elizabeth Taylor, on 8 August 1819 at Dewsbury as Thomas Hall of Batley. Witnesses were David Haley and John Smith.²
Bathsheba Healey died in 1836. She was buried on 14 February 1836 at Batley ; aged 34.¹

     Mary Hall was born in 1825. She was the daughter of Thomas Hall and Bathsheba Healey. Mary Hall was baptized on 19 September 1825 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as the sister of John Hall.²

     David Hall was born in 1827. He was the son of Thomas Hall and Bathsheba Healey. David Hall was baptized on 16 September 1827 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the brother of John Hall.² He and his brother were I believe those listed in the census of 1851 at Cross Wynd, Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scotland, those lodging with Elizabeth Farquhar and family as wool dealers employing 4 women and 2 boys.³
David Hall married Mary Day, daughter of George Day, on 16 February 1854 at Batley Witnesses were James Preston and George Day.¹
In the census of 1861 he was listed as the head of household at (back house), Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scotland, as a woollen cloth merchant with one female servant Agnes Beattie aged 25.⁴
In the census of 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Hope Hill Cottage, Wilton, Roxburghshire, as a wool and waste merchant.

     Jeremiah Hudswell was born on 28 October 1794 at Batley. He was the son of Thomas Hudswell and Elizabeth Hall. Jeremiah Hudswell was baptized on 16 November 1794 at Batley.¹
He married Elizabeth Pyrah, daughter of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth, on 19 January 1817 at Batley Both wrote their names clearly. The marriage was witnessed by William Parr and Thomas Lee.¹
In 1829 Jeremiah Hudswell was listed in a Dewsbury directory as a horse clothing manufacturer.²
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Up Lane, Batley, as a clothier.³
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Up Lane, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer. A grandson, Edwin aged 2 is also present.⁴
He died on 3 August 1852 aged 57 years.⁵
Jeremiah Hudswell was probably the Jerre Hudswell to whom Samuel Colbeck refers as "saving Batley" during the hard times of the late 1830s. , saying:-
"Batley was in a very bad state. Cotton had fallen and shoddy had made very little progress. A man called Jerre Hudswell secured some government contracts for coverlets, and that saved Batley. We got into coverlet weaving. Jerre Hudswell found work for a great number of people. I applied for a job and got one, taking my own loom with me."⁶

     Ben Sheard Marshall was born on 6 April 1845 at Salford. He was the son of Richard Gill Marshall and Mary Sheard. Ben Sheard Marshall was baptized on 24 January 1847 at Batley.¹

     Hannah Spedding was born on 10 September 1845. She was the daughter of Robert Spedding and Ann Harrison. Hannah Spedding was baptized on 14 March 1847 at Batley.¹

     John Sheard was born on 15 May 1816 at Thornhill.¹ He was the son of John Sheard. John Sheard and John Sheard were (an unknown value).
John Sheard married Elizabeth Ward, daughter of Samuel Ward and Hannah Spedding, on 27 February 1840 at Batley.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at 2 Church Lane, Batley, as a butcher.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Husband's Buildings, Batley, as a butcher aged 46.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Commercial Street, Batley, as a butcher.⁵
John Sheard died on 15 September 1894 at age 78.¹

     Mary Jane Cawthorne was born circa 1867. She was the daughter of Charles Cawthorne and Jane Harrison. Mary Jane Cawthorne married George Albert Blackburn, son of George Blackburn and Ann Thurman, on 2 October 1906 at St. Thomas's Church, Batley.¹
In the census of 2 April 1911 Mary Jane Blackburn was listed at Claremont, Batley, as wife of George Albert Blackburn.²

     John Gledhill was born on 9 June 1801 at Batley.^1,2 He was the son of John Gledhill and Susanna Newsome. John Gledhill was baptized on 21 June 1801 at Batley.¹

     Squire Newsome was born on 4 June 1801. He was the son of John Newsome and Sarah Fox. Squire Newsome was baptized on 28 June 1801 at Batley.¹
He died in 1802. He was buried on 20 June 1802 at Batley.¹

     Joseph Chappel was born in 1818. He was the son of Joseph Chappel and Letitia Newsome. Joseph Chappel was baptized on 16 August 1818 at Batley.¹
