     Mary (?) was born circa 1795 at Dewsbury. She married Thomas Hirst, son of Job Hirst and Christiana Carr.
In the census of 6 June 1841 Mary Hirst was listed at Purlwell, Batley, as wife of Thomas Hirst.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Fairbank was born in 1898 at Appleton-le-Street, Yorkshire. She was the daughter of James Arthur Fairbank. Mary Elizabeth Fairbank married Gilbert Vasey, son of Orenza Vasey and Emma Blackburn, in 1924 at Malton.^1,2

     James Arthur Fairbank was born in 1863 at Bradford.

     Sarah Stubley was born circa 1858. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Mary Ann Crossley. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a scholar the daughter of John Stubley at Blakeridge Lane, Batley.¹

     Crossley W Stubley was born circa 1863. He was the son of John Stubley and Mary Ann Crossley. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the son of John Stubley at Blakeridge Lane, Batley.¹

     Mercy Jane Stubley was born circa 1866. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Mary Ann Crossley. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as the daughter of John Stubley at Blakeridge Lane, Batley.¹

     Eddie Stubley was born circa 1868. He was the son of John Stubley and Mary Ann Crossley. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the son of John Stubley at Blakeridge Lane, Batley.¹

     John Joseph Stubley was born in 1870. He was the son of John Stubley and Mary Ann Crossley. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the son of John Stubley at Blakeridge Lane, Batley.¹

     Francis Ineson was born on 27 July 1818.¹ He was the son of Gershon Ineson and Sarah Jackson. Francis Ineson was baptized on 8 June 1840 as an adult.¹

     Joseph Dodgshun was born in 1798. He was the son of Isaac Dodgshun and Sarah Dickinson. Joseph Dodgshun was baptized on 12 August 1798 at New Chapel Independent, Morley.
He married Sarah Dixon on 11 December 1819 at Batley by banns, witnesses were Joshua Asquith and Judith Dixon.¹
Joseph Dodgshun married Ellen Dickinson, daughter of Nathaniel Dickinson, in 1846.²
Joseph Dodgshun died on 10 July 1864 at Morley.³

     James Dodgshun was born in 1810. He was the son of Isaac Dodgshun and Sarah Dickinson.
James Dodgshun married Fanny Naylor, daughter of Abraham Naylor and Ann (?), on 26 April 1841 at Belgrave Chapel, Leeds, James's occupation is given as Merchant.¹
In June 1850 James Dodgshun described as an English Merchant from Hamburg, sought permission from the local magistrates to build a Shoddy Factory in  at Wittenberge on the River Elbe. Local documentation tells of a sixty foot chimney and a twelve horsepower steam engine, the first in Wittenberge.
Joseph Naylorseems to have been associated with his brother-in-law James from an early stage.
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at 19 Lyddon Terrace, Leeds, as a wool merchant.
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at 35 Lyddon Terrace, Leeds, as a retired woolstapler.²
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Hamburg Villa, Clarendon Road, Leeds, Also present are Clarissa Smith, daughter of a niece, and a cook and housemaid.³

Isaac Dodgshun married Eliza Naylor, daughter of Abraham Naylor and Ann (?), on 11 December 1844 at Belgrave Chapel, Leeds, is described as wool merchant of Morley, and Eliza as third daughter of Mr Abraham Naylor, wool merchant of Leeds.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Elmwood Green, Leeds, as a Foreign Wool Merchant.²
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household as a retired wool stapler.

     Eliza Naylor was born on 23 July 1819; the 1881 census gives place of birth as Sands Mill, Dewsbury.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Naylor and Ann (?). Eliza Naylor was baptized on 26 December 1820 at Ebenezer Independent Chapel, Dewsbury.¹

Walter Brearley died on 13 February 1871.²

     Mary (?) was born circa 1811. She married George Thurman, son of William Thurman and Elizabeth Firth.

In the census of 7 April 1861 Mary Thurman was listed at 60 Common Side, Soothill, as wife of George Thurman.

     Squire Thurman was born circa 1836 at Batley Carr. He was the son of George Thurman and Mary (?). In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a rag sorter the son of George Thurman at Hanging Heaton.¹
