     John Blackburn was born circa 1844 at Almondbury. He was the son of George Blackburn and Martha (?). John Blackburn married Emma Sheard, daughter of John Sheard and Mary Fowler, on 29 October 1870 at Batley.¹

     David Battye was born circa 1868 at Holmfirth. He married Sarah Stubley, daughter of Mark Stubley and Sarah Ineson, in 1889.¹
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the head of household at 67 Peel St, Batley, as an engine firer.²

     Ellen Blackburn was born in 1831. She was the daughter of George Blackburn and Phoebe (?).

     George Kaye was born in 1855. He was the son of Ellen Blackburn.

     Arthur Kaye was born in 1882. He was the son of George Kaye. Arthur Kaye married Annie Eveline Senior, daughter of John Hall Senior and Elizabeth (?), in 1911.
Arthur and Annie Eveline Kaye with their children emigrated in 1914 on the S S "Cedric", arriving in New York on the 2nd October.¹ In the census of 9 January 1920 he was listed as the head of household at Willow St, Little Falls, Herkimer, New York, as foreman, packing room, knitting mill.²

     Annie Eveline Senior was born in 1879. She is the daughter of John Hall Senior and Elizabeth (?). In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as the daughter of John Hall Senior at Purlwell Lane, Batley.¹
In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as a scholar the daughter-in-law of John Hall Senior.² Annie Eveline Senior married Arthur Kaye, son of George Kaye, in 1911.
Annie Eveline and Arthur Kaye with their children emigrated in 1914 on the S S "Cedric", arriving in New York on the 2nd October.³ In the census of 9 January 1920 Annie Eveline Kaye was listed at Willow St, Little Falls, Herkimer, New York, as wife of Arthur Kaye.⁴

     Mary Redfearn married Matthew Thurman, son of John Thurman and Susannah Ineson, on 1 September 1836 at Birstall.¹

     John Thurman was born on 16 November 1836.¹ He was the son of Matthew Thurman and Mary Redfearn. John Thurman was baptized on 1 January 1837 at Birstall.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the son of an unknown person at White Lee, Batley.²

     Elizabeth Wharton was born on 3 January 1792.¹ She was the daughter of Christopher Wharton and Mary Healey. Elizabeth Wharton was baptized on 29 January 1792 at Batley.¹
She married William Thurman, son of James Thurman and Nancy Joy, on 3 August 1820 at Batley witnesses were Benj Exley and (?) Thompson.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Elizabeth Thurman was listed as wife of William Thurman.
Elizabeth Thurman died in 1843. She was buried on 27 November 1843 at Batley.¹

     James Thurman was born circa 1825. He was the son of William Thurman and Elizabeth Wharton. James Thurman was baptized on 25 June 1826 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as a weaver the son of William Thurman.

     Ellen Nussey was born in 1834. She was baptized on 20 April 1834 at Birstall.¹
She was the daughter of William Nussey and Mary Ann Gledhill. Ellen Nussey married John Wharton Thurman, son of William Thurman and Elizabeth Wharton, on 19 October 1856 at Woodkirk.

     William Nussey was born on 4 July 1806 at Batley.¹ He was the son of John Nussey. William Nussey was baptized on 21 August 1806 at Batley.¹
He married Mary Ann Gledhill on 11 December 1833 at Batley witnesses were Joseph Chadwick and Richard Gledhill.¹

     John Furness is the son of William Furness. John Furness married Jane Talbot Ibberson, daughter of William Ibberson and Hannah Blakeley, on 3 July 1856 at Batley.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Commercial Street, Batley, as an innkeeper and butcher.

     John Furness was born in 1857. He was the son of John Furness and Jane Talbot Ibberson. In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a rag merchant's assistant the son of Jane Talbot Furness at Havercroft, Batley.¹

     Mary Greenwood was born circa 1860. She was the daughter of William Greenwood and Sarah Newsome. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the daughter of William Greenwood at Cobden Street, Batley.¹

     Mary Heppleston was born circa 1835. She was the daughter of Robert Heppleston and Ellen Senior. Mary Heppleston was baptized on 8 November 1835 at Batley.¹
She married Edward Bailey, son of David Bailey and Sarah (?), on 14 June 1856.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 Mary Bailey was listed at Albion Street, Batley, as wife of Edward Bailey.³
In the census of 2 April 1871 Mary Bailey was listed at Jubb's Mill Yard as wife of Edward Bailey.⁴
In the census of 3 April 1881 Mary Bailey was listed at Jubb's Mill Yard, Batley, as wife of Edward Bailey.⁵
In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as the head of household at 4 Surrey Street, Batley, as living on her own means.⁶

     Peter Heppleston was born in 1848. He was the son of Robert Heppleston and Ellen Senior.

     Sarah Ellen Bailey was born in 1868 at Batley. She was the daughter of Edward Bailey and Mary Heppleston. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as the daughter of Edward Bailey at Jubb's Mill Yard.¹

     Joseph Farrar was born circa 1820.

     Mary Ann Farrar was born in 1844. She was the daughter of Joseph Farrar. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as the sister-in-law of John Frost Burnley at Bank Foot, Batley.¹
In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as a woollen weaver the sister-in-law of John Frost Burnley at Talbot Street, Batley.²
In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as housekeeper the sister-in-law of John Frost Burnley at 4 Wilsons Buildings, Bradford Road, Batley.³

     Maria Gledhill was born in 1848. She was the daughter of Grace Gledhill. Maria Gledhill was baptized on 5 November 1848 at Batley on the same day as her cousin Matilda, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Sheard.¹
She died of diarrhoea on 8 September 1849 at Havercroft, Batley.² She was buried on 10 September 1849 at Batley.¹
