     Jesse Smith Newsome was born circa 1847 at Batley. He was the son of William Newsome and Harriet Blakeley.

     Alice Blakeley was born on 7 April 1790 at Batley. She was the daughter of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon. Alice Blakeley died in 1796. She was buried on 23 February 1796 at Batley ; as daughter of David Blakeley.¹

     Susanna Blakeley was born on 1 August 1793 at Batley. She was the daughter of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon.

     Hannah Blakeley was born on 21 January 1796 at Batley. She was the daughter of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon. Hannah Blakeley died in 1796. She was buried on 25 February 1796 at Batley.¹

     William Blakeley was born on 19 July 1797 at Batley. He was the son of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon.

     Susannah Blakeley was born in January 1800 at Batley. She was the daughter of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon. Susannah Blakeley was baptized on 9 February 1800 at Batley.¹
She married Joseph Hargreaves on 29 January 1824 at Batley.¹

     Joshua Blakeley was born on 19 February 1803 at Batley. He was the son of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon. Joshua Blakeley married Harriet Roberts on 20 March 1836 at Wakefield.
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a woollen weaver.
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a handloom weaver.¹

     Joseph Hargreaves married Susannah Blakeley, daughter of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon, on 29 January 1824 at Batley.¹

     Elizabeth Hargreaves was born circa 1836. She was the daughter of Joseph Hargreaves and Susannah Blakeley. In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as a feeder in a woollen mill aged 14 the niece of William Fox.¹

     Harriet Roberts was baptized circa 1814 at Batley.
She married Joshua Blakeley, son of David Blakeley and Mary Dixon, on 20 March 1836 at Wakefield.
In the census of 6 June 1841 Harriet Blakeley was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of Joshua Blakeley.
In the census of 30 March 1851 Harriet Blakeley was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as a bobbin winder wife of Joshua Blakeley.¹

     John Mitchell was born circa 1821 at Mirfield.
He was probably the John Mitchell listed in the census of 6 June 1841 at Batley in the household of Henry Brearley as an apprentice.¹
John Mitchell married Mary Stubley, daughter of Joseph Stubley and Frances Smith, on 6 March 1842 at Batley witnesses were Thomas Smith and Joshua Porrit.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a woollen cloth weaver the son-in-law of Frances Mortimer.³ In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Wheatcroft, Batley, a woollen hand loom weaver.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Purlwell, Batley, as a delver or quarryman.⁵
John Mitchell married Elizabeth Galloway, daughter of Joseph Stubley and Frances Smith, in 1874.⁶

     Sarah Blackburn was born in 1863. She was the daughter of George Blackburn and Ann Thurman. Sarah Blackburn appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 in the household of George Blackburn and Ann Blackburn at Linefield House, Batley.¹ In the census of 5 April 1891 she was listed as aged 27 the daughter of George Blackburn at Claremont House, Batley.²
In the census of 31 March 1901 she was listed as aged 37 the daughter of Ann Blackburn at 1 Rutland Road, Batley.³
Sarah Blackburn died on 1 September 1928.⁴

     Abraham Wilkinson was born circa 1819 at Birstall. He married Mary Preston, daughter of John Preston and Martha Marshall, on 26 February 1837 at Tong.
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Carlinghow, Batley, as a wool weaver.¹

     John Fox Smith was born circa 1862 at Batley.¹ He was the son of Joseph Smith and Nancy Richardson Fox. John Fox Smith married Annie Carter, daughter of James Joshua Carter and Jane Brearley, in 1888.²

     Fred Stocks Binns was born on 22 May 1877 at Batley. He was the son of George Edward Binns and Frances Emma Stocks. In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the son of George Edward Binns at Bath Street, Batley.
In 1899 Fred Stocks Binns emigrated on the S.S. Campania, arrriving in New York on the 13th of May.¹
He married Malvina Surprenant on 2 October 1905 at Holyoke, Massachusetts.

     Ethel M Binns was born in 1881 at Batley.¹ She was the daughter of George Edward Binns and Frances Emma Stocks.
In the census of 31 March 1901 she was listed as a confectioners assistant the daughter of George Edward Binns at 33 Healey Lane, Batley.²
Ethel M Binns and her daughter Frances Emma Binns emigrated in 1904 to Philadelphia on the S.S. Haverford.³ Ethel M Binns married John William McMaster, son of John McMaster and Emma Jane Crowther, on 7 March 1906 at Manhattan, New York, New York.^4,5

Sarah Stubley married David Battye in 1889.³

     Matthew Mitchell was born circa 1849. He was the son of John Mitchell and Mary Stubley. In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the grandson of Frances Mortimer.¹ In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a scholar the son of John Mitchell at Wheatcroft, Batley.²
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as a journeyman plumber the son of John Mitchell at Purlwell, Batley.³
