He married Elizabeth Newsome on 11 May 1818 at Parish Church, Batley, John Newsome witness: this marriage seems likely as Pyrah's were living close to Newsomes.1
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Chapel Fold, Batley, as a woollen labourer.2
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Chapel Fold, Batley, as a blanket milleraged 54.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Upper Chapel Fold, Batley, as a woollen cloth weaver.4

Tom Webster was born in 1897. He was the son of John Edward Webster and Kate Binns.
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as aged 4 the son of John Edward Webster at 107 Dark Lane, Batley.1,2
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as at school the son of John Edward Webster at "Windy Bank" 107 Dark Lane, Batley.3
Tom Webster was to work for G and J Stubley like his father, beginning as a trainee in the office, but then learning weaving and other skills, and as reported by his mother spending his first wages on a top hat!4
War service was to interrupt Tom's career, and he served in the Royal Horse Artillery as a Second Lieutenant, and suffered a shrapnel injury on the Somme.4
On demobilisation Tom returned to Stubleys and worked his way up to a managerial role at the Wakefield Mills.4
He married Caroline Mary Naylor in 1926 at Knaresborough.
When The Wakefield mill closed in the slump of the 1830s he returned to the Batley works as manager of what was termed the "wet" department.
Tom Webster died on 9 April 1982.
