     Hannah Pyrah was born on 3 December 1792 at Batley. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. Hannah Pyrah was baptized on 25 December 1792 at Batley.
She died on 21 June 1794 at Purwell, Batley, at age 1. She was buried on 23 June 1794 at Batley.

     Elizabeth Pyrah was born on 25 February 1795. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. Elizabeth Pyrah was baptized on 5 April 1795 at Batley.

     George Pyrah was born on 16 January 1797 at Batley. He was the son of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. George Pyrah was baptized on 5 February 1797 at Batley.
He married Elizabeth Newsome on 11 May 1818 at Parish Church, Batley, John Newsome witness: this marriage seems likely as Pyrah's were living close to Newsomes.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Chapel Fold, Batley, as a woollen labourer.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Chapel Fold, Batley, as a blanket milleraged 54.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Upper Chapel Fold, Batley, as a woollen cloth weaver.⁴

     Maria Pyrah was born on 26 November 1798. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. Maria Pyrah was baptized on 25 December 1798 at Batley.
She was buried on 21 June 1799 at Batley. She died on 21 June 1799 at Purwell, Batley.

     Johannah Pyrah was born on 14 January 1801. She was the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. Johannah Pyrah was baptized on 22 February 1801 at Batley.¹
She married John France on 28 July 1830 at Batley witnesses George Clegg and John Chadwick.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Johannah France was listed at Batley Carr, Dewsbury, as wife of John France.²

     Ann Pyrah was born on 26 March 1803. She is the daughter of Joseph Pyrah and Elizabeth Gledhill. Ann Pyrah was baptized on 17 July 1803 at Batley.

     Sally Firth was the daughter of John Firth. Sally Firth married Benjamin Pyrah, son of Joshua Pyrah and Sarah Beaumont, on 6 April 1780 at Dewsbury.¹

     Amey Pyrah was born on 22 October 1780. She is the daughter of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. Amey Pyrah was baptized on 12 November 1780 at Batley.¹

     John Pyrah was born on 21 January 1783. He was the son of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. John Pyrah was baptized on 2 March 1783 at Batley.¹

     Benjamin Pyrah was born on 17 October 1786.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. Benjamin Pyrah was baptized on 19 November 1786 at Batley.¹

     George Pyrah was born on 28 November 1788.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. George Pyrah was baptized on 18 January 1789 at Batley.¹
He married Elizabeth Taylor on 24 May 1812 at Batley witnesses Jeremiah Chadwick and one which is hard to read but I think John Pyrah.¹

     Sarah Pyrah was born on 6 February 1790.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. Sarah Pyrah was baptized on 7 March 1790 at Batley.¹
She died in 1791. She was buried on 24 August 1791 at Batley.

     Abraham Pyrah was born on 2 July 1792.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Pyrah and Sally Firth. Abraham Pyrah was baptized on 26 July 1792 at Batley.¹
He married Sarah Brooke on 6 August 1815 at Birstall.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at 14 West Street, Leeds, as a dealer in earthenware and gutta percha aged 58.³

     Susanna Peel was the daughter of John Peel. Susanna Peel married George Pyrah, son of James Pyrah and Jemima Sheard, on 6 July 1809 at Batley witnessed by Thomas Parr and Benjamin Bruce.¹

     Maria Pyrah was born in 1814. She was the daughter of George Pyrah and Susanna Peel. Maria Pyrah was baptized on 18 September 1814 at Batley.

     Joshua Pyrah was born in 1824. He was the son of George Pyrah and Susanna Peel. Joshua Pyrah was baptized on 19 September 1824 at Batley.

     Elizabeth Armitage of brick works family; Robin Hood, Rothwell. She was born circa 1852 at Lofthouse. She was the daughter of George Armitage and Elizabeth Swann. Elizabeth Armitage was baptized on 1 April 1855 at Christchurch, Lofthouse, baptised on same day as three of her siblings.¹
She married Christopher Thurman Robinson, son of John Robinson and Grace Stubley, on 29 December 1875 at Christ Church, Lofthouse, Wakefield, Witnesses were James and Mary Armitage.^2,1

In the census of 5 April 1891 Elizabeth Robinson was listed at Croft House, Purlwell Lane, Batley, as wife of Christopher Thurman Robinson.³
In the census of 31 March 1901 Elizabeth Robinson was listed at 78 Purlwell Lane, Batley, as wife of Christopher Thurman Robinson.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1911 Elizabeth Robinson was listed at Croft House, Purlwell, Batley, as wife of Christopher Thurman Robinson.⁵

     Florence Singleton was born circa 1871. She was the daughter of Samuel Singleton. Florence Singleton married Abraham Arthur Binns, son of Isaac Binns and Sarah Thurman Robinson, on 21 August 1899 at Batley Witnesses were Kate Webster and Frances Amelia Talbot.¹
In the census of 31 March 1901 Florence Singleton was listed at 12 Belvedere Road, Batley, as wife of Abraham Arthur Binns.
In the census of 2 April 1911 Florence Binns was listed at 88A Purlwell Lane, Batley, as wife of Abraham Arthur Binns.²
In the census of 1930 Florence Binns was listed at Haddon Township, Camden, New Jersey, as wife of Abraham Arthur Binns.³

     John Edward Webster was born in 1867 at Birstall. He was the son of Thomas Webster.
John Edward Webster married Kate Binns, daughter of Isaac Binns and Sarah Thurman Robinson, in 1895.¹
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the head of household at 107 Dark Lane, Batley, as a woollen mill secretary and cashier. This was for Messrs G and J Stubley, for whom he worked for 54 years.^2,3
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as the head of household, Secretary and Cashier to a Limited Co. of woollen manufacturers, at "Windy Bank" 107 Dark Lane, Batley.⁴
John Edward Webster died in 1940. He was buried on 20 July 1940 at The Cemetery, Batley.⁵

     Tom Webster was born in 1897. He was the son of John Edward Webster and Kate Binns.
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as aged 4 the son of John Edward Webster at 107 Dark Lane, Batley.^1,2
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was listed as at school the son of John Edward Webster at "Windy Bank" 107 Dark Lane, Batley.³
Tom Webster was to work for G and J Stubley like his father, beginning as a trainee in the office, but then learning weaving and other skills, and as reported by his mother spending his first wages on a top hat!⁴
War service was to interrupt Tom's career, and he served in the Royal Horse Artillery as a Second Lieutenant, and suffered a shrapnel injury on the Somme.⁴
On demobilisation Tom returned to Stubleys and worked his way up to a managerial role at the Wakefield Mills.⁴
He married Caroline Mary Naylor in 1926 at Knaresborough.
When The Wakefield mill closed in the slump of the 1830s he returned to the Batley works as manager of what was termed the "wet" department.
Tom Webster died on 9 April 1982.

     Caroline Mary Naylor was born in 1904 at Knaresborough. She married Tom Webster, son of John Edward Webster and Kate Binns, in 1926 at Knaresborough.

     Bessie North was born circa 1876. She was the daughter of William North. Bessie North married John Eldon Binns, son of Isaac Binns and Sarah Thurman Robinson, on 3 July 1902 at Christ Church, Staincliffe, Witnesses were Charles E Brooke and Eli Sedgewick.^1,2

In the census of 2 April 1911 Bessie Binns was listed at 21 Rydall St., Holbeck, Leeds, as wife of John Eldon Binns.³

      Sarah Thurman Binns was also known as Sallie Binns. She was born in 1906 at Holbeck, Leeds. She was the daughter of John Eldon Binns and Bessie North. In the census of 2 April 1911 she was listed as aged 4 the daughter of John Eldon Binns at 21 Rydall St., Holbeck, Leeds.¹
Sarah Thurman Binns a Bridge player of some distinction, and my photo shows her with a collection of trophies. She died on 18 April 1991.

     John Garnet Binns was born in 1912. He was the son of John Eldon Binns and Bessie North.
