James Robinson married Hepzibah Stubley, daughter of Elizabeth Stubley, on 10 September 1848 at Batley witnessed by John Robinson, who writes, and William Asquith who makes his mark. That I have the right parties to this marriage is not as well proven as I would wish. However, Hepzibah is the only one of the right age I can find. On the marriage entry her father's name is given as Joshua, but that was her grandfather's name.1
