     Grace Newsome was born in 1760. She was the daughter of Samuel Newsome and Susanna Swallow. Grace Newsome was baptized on 21 September 1760 at Batley.¹
She died in 1776. She was buried on 29 July 1776 at Batley.¹

     Frances Newsome was born in 1771. She was the daughter of Samuel Newsome and Susanna Swallow. Frances Newsome was baptized on 14 June 1771 at Batley.¹

     John Stubley was born in 1690. He was the son of John Stubley and Susanna (?). John Stubley was baptized on 22 March 1689/90 at Birstall.¹

     Sarah Stubley was born in 1699. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Susanna (?). Sarah Stubley was baptized on 22 January 1698/99 at Birstall.¹

     Abraham Stubley was born in 1705. He was the son of John Stubley and Susanna (?). Abraham Stubley was baptized on 5 November 1705 at Birstall.¹
In 1737 Abraham Stubley was possibly the Abraham Stubley accused along with a Timothy Popplewell, both of Hawksworth, near Guiseley of stealing sheep from a Henry Houseman of Plumpton and driving them beyond Leeds (in a Birstall direction!) along with their own. Their defence was that they had bought the sheep from an unknown person near Harrogate. We do not know the outcome of the case. Popplewells from Hawksworth later laid charges against a Thomas Stubley that he had stolen one of their father's sheep, and I think this could have been Abraham's brother.^2,3

     Susanna Stubley was born in 1693. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Susanna (?). Susanna Stubley was baptized on 9 April 1693 at Birstall.¹

     Ann Stubley was born in 1688. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Susanna (?). Ann Stubley married William Popplewell on 22 July 1711 at Birstall.¹

     Judeth Stubley was born in 1696. She was the daughter of John Stubley and Susanna (?). Judeth Stubley was baptized on 2 August 1696 at Birstall.¹

     William Popplewell married Ann Stubley, daughter of John Stubley and Susanna (?), on 22 July 1711 at Birstall.¹

     Susanna (?) married John Stubley.
Susanna (?) died in March 1709/10 at Heckmondwike.

     Hannah Sheard was born on 4 December 1796. She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Hannah Sheard was baptized on 25 December 1796 at Batley.¹
She married James Roberts on 3 November 1817 at Batley witnesses were John Fell and Jo. Chadwick.¹
Hannah Sheard died in 1834. She was buried on 19 January 1834 at Batley.¹

     James Sheard was born on 14 December 1803. He was the son of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. James Sheard was baptized on 5 February 1804 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a woollen spinner.²

     Martha Sheard was born on 18 December 1798 at Batley. She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Martha Sheard was baptized on 25 December 1798 at Batley.¹
She died in 1802 at Batley. She was buried on 21 June 1802 at Batley.¹

     Martha Sheard was born on 18 March 1809.¹ She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Martha Sheard was baptized on 11 June 1809 at Batley.¹
She married John Wilson, son of Daniel Wilson and Letitia Fox, on 13 June 1828 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Martha Wilson was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of John Wilson.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 Martha Wilson was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of John Wilson.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 Martha Wilson was listed at Quarry, Batley, as wife of John Wilson.⁴

     Ann Sheard was born on 3 July 1801. She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Ann Sheard was baptized on 17 September 1801 at Batley.
She married Joseph Fell on 17 September 1824 at Batley witnesses Thomas Law and Thomas Parr.¹

     William Sheard was born on 27 September 1806.¹ He was the son of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. William Sheard was baptized on 10 November 1806 at Batley.¹
He married Hannah Hepworth, daughter of John Hepworth and Margaret (?), on 4 February 1836 at Batley both made marks Witnesses Joseph Fell and Samuel Scholes.¹
William Sheard is probably the William Sheard who witnessed the marriage of Esther Bailey and Samuel Hepworth since William's wife Hannah is likely to be Samuel's sister, also born in Ireland. on 20 May 1838 at Batley.¹ In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a woollen weaver.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a woollen weaver.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at "quary", Batley, as a woollen weaver.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Ward's Hill, Batley, as a cloth weaver aged 64.⁵

     Maria Sheard was born in 1814. She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Maria Sheard was baptized on 19 September 1814 at Batley.
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as in the household of James Sheard at Havercroft, Batley.¹
Maria Sheard married Abraham Sheard, son of David Sheard and Martha Talbot, on 18 April 1842 at Dewsbury both were of Batley Carr at the time of their marriage.²
Maria Sheard died; probably the Maria Sheard of Havercroft who died 17 1 1850 aged 35.³

     Jane Sheard was born in 1817. She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Jane Sheard was baptized on 9 February 1817 at Batley.¹
She married William Fox, son of David Fox and Mary Ibberson, on 20 May 1839 at Batley witnesses Josh Chadwick and John Fox.^2,3,1
In the census of 6 June 1841 Jane Fox was listed at Spa Hill, Batley, as wife of William Fox.⁴
Jane Fox died on 17 September 1844. She was buried on 19 September 1844 at Batley.

     Elizabeth Lister was born in 1728. She was the daughter of George Lister and Grace Hudson. Elizabeth Lister was baptized on 2 March 1727/28 at Batley.

     George Lister was born in 1735. He was the son of George Lister and Grace Hudson. George Lister was baptized on 30 March 1735 at Batley.

     Sarah Lister was born in 1746. She was the daughter of George Lister and Grace Hudson. Sarah Lister was baptized on 18 August 1746 at Batley.
She died in 1754. She was buried on 1 February 1754 at Batley.¹

     William Lister was born in 1671 at Batley. He was the son of John Lister and Jane Tingle. William Lister was baptized on 25 June 1671 at Batley.

     Charles Blakeley was born on 31 July 1793. He was the son of Samuel Blakeley and Ann Shaw. Charles Blakeley was baptized on 22 September 1793 at Batley.
He died in 1794. He was buried on 23 July 1794 ; as son of Samuel Blakeley.¹
