     Mary E Wilson was born in 1860. She was the daughter of David Wilson. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as aged 6 months the daughter of David Wilson.¹
In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a scholar the daughter of David Wilson at Taylor Street, Batley.²

      Hannah Newsome was also known as Ann Newsome. She was born circa 1812 at Batley. She married Robert Wilson, son of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard, on 25 December 1832 at Wakefield IGI has as Ann.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Hannah Wilson was listed at Havercroft Lane End, Batley, as wife of Robert Wilson.²
Hannah Wilson was listed aged 39 on the census of 30 March 1851 at New Road, Batley, as wife of Robert Wilson.³
Hannah Newsome died in 1856. She was listed on the census of 7 April 1861 at New Road Side, Batley, as aged 49, wife of Robert Wilson.⁴
Hannah Newsome was buried on 17 February 1866 at Batley.⁵

     Mary Ann Crowther was born on 14 October 1839(listed on tree drawn up with assistance of Ethel Mary Binns as daughter of Jeremiah and Hannah and as having later married W.E. Duncan. Age corresponds with later censuses as wife of Walter E. Duncan).¹
She was the daughter of Jeremiah Crowther and Hannah Mortimer. Mary Ann Crowther emigrated with her parents Hannah and Jeremiah Crowther in 1840; on the "Citizen" from Liverpool, arriving in New York on May 27th. With them was George Crowther, aged 17.²
In the census of 27 August 1850 she was listed as aged 10 the daughter of Jeremiah Crowther at Philadelphia.³
In the census of 24 July 1860 she was listed as a weaver aged 21 in the household of Jeremiah Crowther at Philadelphia.⁴

     Samuel Crowther was born on 15 August 1844 at Franklinville, Gloucester, New Jersey. He was the son of Jeremiah Crowther and Hannah Mortimer. In the census of 27 August 1850 he was listed as aged 6 in the household of Jeremiah Crowther at Philadelphia.¹
In the census of 24 July 1860 he was listed as a gas-fitter aged 16 in the household of Jeremiah Crowther at Philadelphia.²

     Samuel Colbeck was born in 1823. He was the son of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson. Samuel Colbeck was baptized on 21 September 1823 at Batley.¹
He was buried on 10 April 1828.²

     Israel Colbeck was born in 1818.¹ He was the son of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson. Israel Colbeck was baptized on 31 March 1818 at Old Chapel Independent, Heckmondwike.²
He married Elizabeth Exley, daughter of Samuel Exley and Elizabeth Nelson, on 3 August 1840 at Batley Israel signed, Elizabeth made her mark.
At the time of marrriage he was described as a machine manufacturer. Witnesses were Samuel Haley and Joseph Chadwick.^3,4,5
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a machine maker.⁶
In 1842 Israel Colbeck was listed in a Leeds and district Directory (as Coldbeck, Israel) as a machine maker.⁷
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, N side Commercial St., Batley, as a machine maker employing 9 men and 2 boys.⁸
In 1858 Israel Colbeck was listed in White's Directory as a machine maker.⁹
In 1869 Elizabeth Exley and Israel with their family are said to have moved to France, where he established himself as a shoddy merchant.⁴
He died on 4 December 1891 at his residence at 6 St Roman Road, Rouen, France.⁴

     Janet Colbeck was born in 1831.¹ She was the daughter of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson. Janet Colbeck was baptized on 12 June 1831 at Batley.²

In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as a cloth birler aged 19 the daughter of Elizabeth Colbeck at Havercroft, Batley.⁴
Janet Colbeck married Joseph Terry, son of Mark Terry and Elizabeth Ineson, on 13 November 1851.⁵

     Sarah Colbeck was born circa 1814.¹ She was the daughter of William Colbeck and Elizabeth Richardson. Sarah Colbeck married George Dyson on 13 June 1836 at Batley Witnesses were James Sheard and George Sheard.^1,2

     John Binns was born circa 1847 at Wilsden.¹ He married Hannah Clayton, daughter of James Clayton and Sarah Dyson, on 24 August 1871 at the Parish Church, Halifax.²

     Hannah Clayton was born in 1845 at Ovenden.¹ She was the daughter of James Clayton and Sarah Dyson.¹ Hannah Clayton married John Binns on 24 August 1871 at the Parish Church, Halifax.²

     Matthew Victor Binns was born in 1872 at Halifax.¹ He was the son of John Binns and Hannah Clayton. Matthew Victor Binns died on 18 January 1914 at Huddersfield.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Binns was born in 1874.¹ She was the daughter of John Binns and Hannah Clayton. Sarah Elizabeth Binns died in 1890 at Halifax.

     Miriam Binns was born in 1877 at Halifax.¹ She was the daughter of John Binns and Hannah Clayton.

     Hermon Binns was born in 1879 at Bradford.¹ He was the son of John Binns and Hannah Clayton.

     Frances Emma McMaster was born in 1910. She was the daughter of John William McMaster and Ethel M Binns.

     Joshua Newsome was born in 1821. He was the son of Joshua Newsome and Martha Willans. Joshua Newsome was baptized on 1 April 1821 at Batley as son of Joshua and Martha.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as a woollen labourer aged 20 in the household of Joshua Newsome at Chapel Fold, Batley.²
