     Rosemary Florence Sheard was born in 1913 at Kidderminster.¹ She is the daughter of Reginald Sheard and Florence Allen.

     William Chadwick married Hannah Pyrah, daughter of George Pyrah and Elizabeth Newsome, on 6 November 1854.¹

     Joseph Terry was born on 6 March 1856.¹ He was the son of Joseph Terry and Janet Colbeck. Joseph Terry was baptized on 21 March 1856 at Batley.¹

     Samuel Exley was born on 21 April 1816. He was the son of Samuel Exley and Elizabeth Nelson. Samuel Exley was baptized on 21 May 1816 at Old Chapel Independent, Heckmondwike.

     Samuel Reed was born circa 1816. He married Ann Birtby Scargill on 20 May 1839 at Batley.¹

      Abraham Bruce was also known as Abraham Robinson In the 1851 census and subsequently Abraham uses his stepfather's name of Robinson. He was born in 1829. He was the son of Abraham Bruce and Sarah Kitson. Abraham Bruce was baptized on 8 June 1829 at Birstall.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as in the household of John Robinson at New Batley, Batley.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a bobbin winder, the son-in-law, though actually the step-son, of John Robinson.³ He was listed in the census of 7 April 1861.
Abraham Robinson appeared as a lodger in the census of 7 April 1861 in the household of Sam Pearson and Sarah Elizabeth Ellen Pearson, his half sister and her husband at Hume Street, Batley.⁴ In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as as a labourer, and under the name of Abraham Bruce, the brother-in-law of Sam Pearson at High St, Batley.⁵
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as a pea dealer ( this has been altered to tea) the brother-in-law of Sam Pearson at High St, Batley.⁶
He was listed a pea hawker, described as uncle, in the census of 5 April 1891in the household of Sam Pearson at Park Rd, Batley, as a widower, an engine fitter.⁷ In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the brother-in-law of Sam Pearson at 8 Granville Place, Batley.⁸

     Samuel Bruce was born circa 1828. He was the son of Abraham Bruce and Sarah Kitson. Samuel Bruce was baptized on 8 June 1829 at Birstall.¹

     James Parr was born on 31 August 1842 at Batley.¹ He was the son of Samuel Parr and Martha Cowling. James Parr was baptized on 17 September 1842 at Batley.¹
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as a scholar the son of Samuel Parr at Upper Batley.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as a dealer in rags the son of Samuel Parr at Up Lane, Batley.³
James Parr married Emma Machen on 21 February 1862 at Kingston Church, Pollockshields, Glasdow, Scotland.⁴

     Hannah Charlotte Dixon Parr was born on 14 August 1841.¹ She was the daughter of George Parr and Martha Dixon. Hannah Charlotte Dixon Parr was baptized on 10 October 1841 at Batley.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the daughter of Martha Parr at 4 Furnace St, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.²

     James Alexander Parr was born circa 1844 at Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. He was the son of George Parr and Martha Dixon.¹ In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as aged 17, a stationer, the son of Martha Parr at 4 Furnace St, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.²
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as as a woollen manufacturer the son of Martha Parr at Stanley Terrrace, Batley.³
In 1878 James Alexander Parr was in view of a later reference likely to have been the Parr in the firm of Parr and Ramsden listed as woollen manufacturers, Bradford Road, Batley.⁴
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Bleak House, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer, employs about 120 hands. there is a housekeeper, Hannah Taylor.⁵
In 1884 a partnership with Joe Ramsden, trading as Parr and Ramsden at Brookroyd Mills, was dissolved, the business to carry on by Mr Ramsden on his own account trading as Joe Ramsden.⁶

     Elizabeth Cowling was born on 10 July 1791.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Cowling and Martha Chappel.

     Mary Cowling was born in 1765. She was the daughter of William Cowling. Mary Cowling was baptized on 3 March 1765.¹

     John Cowling was born in 1767. He was the son of William Cowling. John Cowling was baptized on 4 October 1767 at Batley.¹

     Caleb Cowling was born in 1832. He was the son of Joseph Cowling and Sarah Senior. Caleb Cowling was baptized on 21 March 1832 at Batley.¹
He married Mary Ainsworth, daughter of James Ainsworth and Grace Wormald, in 1852.²
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Cross Bank, Batley, as a cloth dresser.³
In 1882 Caleb Cowling moved to Wittenberge to work for the firm headed by Joseph Naylor.⁴
Caleb Cowling died on 28 January 1901 at Wittenberge, Germany.⁴

     Joshua Cowling was born in 1830. He was the son of Joseph Cowling and Sarah Senior. Joshua Cowling was baptized on 11 April 1830.¹

      Hannah Cowling was also known as Ann Cowling at baptism. She was born in 1836. She was the daughter of Joseph Cowling and Sarah Senior. Hannah Cowling was baptized on 8 May 1836 at Batley.¹

     Mary Cowling was born circa 1842. She was the daughter of Joseph Cowling and Sarah Senior.

     John Micklethwaite was born in 1818. He was the son of Richard Micklethwaite and Elizabeth Dyson. John Micklethwaite was baptized on 20 September 1818 at Mirfield.¹

     Martha Jane Micklethwaite married Abraham Marshall Wilkinson, son of Abraham Wilkinson and Mary Preston, in 1876.

     James Ineson was born in 1833. He was the son of John Ineson and Nancy Beecroft. James Ineson was baptized on 8 December 1833 at Batley.¹

     Frederick Ineson was baptized on 19 April 1835 at Batley.¹
