     Jane Nightingale was born in 1802. She was the daughter of Thomas Nightingale and Ann Wigglesworth.

     Catherine Nightingale was born in 1812. She was the daughter of Thomas Nightingale and Ann Wigglesworth.

     John Nightingale was born on 10 June 1797. He was the son of Robert Nightingale and Elizabeth Wigglesworth. John Nightingale was baptized on 21 December 1798 at Dewsbury.

     William Nightingale In 1861 a farmer of 518 acres in Skipton employing 4 laboureres and also a limestone burner employing 4 men as quarriers and burners. He was born in 1799. He was the son of Robert Nightingale and Elizabeth Wigglesworth. William Nightingale was baptized on 14 May 1799 at Dewsbury.¹

     Philip Tomlinson is the son of George Franklin Tomlinson and Charlotte Monique Duplé. Philip Tomlinson married Vivien Eley, daughter of Brian Eley and Grace Senior, at Mirfield.

     Catherine Beatrice Oddy was born circa 1862. She was the daughter of William Oddy and Sarah Anne Mirfield. In the census of 3 April 1881 she was listed as aged 18 the daughter of William Oddy at Richmond House, Town St., Gomersal.¹
Catherine Beatrice Oddy married Percy Sheard, son of George Sheard and Anne Whitworth, on 8 August 1888 at the Wesleyan Chapel, Birkenshaw.
In the census of 5 April 1891 Catherine Beatrice Sheard was listed at Smithies Moor Lane, Batley, as wife of Percy Sheard.²
Catherine Beatrice Sheard died on 22 October 1953 at Redholme, Droitwich; aged 90, as widow of Percy Sheard.

     Job Parker was born on 27 May 1795 at Batley. He was the son of Matthew Parker and Hannah Preston.

     Susannah Parker was born on 19 December 1801 at Batley. She was the daughter of Matthew Parker and Hannah Preston. In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as a rag sorter the sister of Joseph Parker.¹ In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a general servant aged 69 the sister of Joseph Parker.²

     William Akeroyd was born on 5 May 1810 at Wragby. He was the son of John Akeroyd and Jane Grimshaw Spedding. William Akeroyd was baptized on 29 July 1810 at Wragby.
He married Elizabeth Hall, daughter of Joseph Hall and Elizabeth Taylor, on 5 March 1837 by licence. Witnesses were John Akeroyd and William Hall.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a machine maker.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, Machine maker employing 4 men. William Blakeley, 12 is an apprentice.³
William Akeroyd died in 1855. He was buried on 24 September 1855 at Batley ; aged 45.¹

     Elizabeth Hall was born in 1816. She was the daughter of Joseph Hall and Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth Hall was baptized on 21 April 1816 at Batley Parish Church.¹
She married William Akeroyd, son of John Akeroyd and Jane Grimshaw Spedding, on 5 March 1837 by licence. Witnesses were John Akeroyd and William Hall.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 Elizabeth Akeroyd was listed at Havercroft, Batley, as wife of William Akeroyd.²
Elizabeth Akeroyd was listed on the census of 30 March 1851 at Havercroft, Batley, as aged 34, wife of William Akeroyd.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the head of household at Wellington Street, Batley, a widow aged 43, a machine maker. Though I believe her husband to be the William who died in 1855, Elizabeth seems to have been able to keep the business going until her son was old enough to take over.⁴
Both widowed, Elizabeth Hall married Thomas Heaton on 26 August 1863 at Batley Thomas was described as of Huddersfield and a Superintendent of Police.¹

     George Wrigley was born circa 1819; place of birth variously given in censuses as Morley, Batley and Bruntcliffe. He was the son of Benjamin Wrigley. George Wrigley appeared as a cloth drawer aged 20 on the census of 6 June 1841 in the household of Joseph Jubb at Spa Hill, Batley.¹ George Wrigley married Martha Newsome, daughter of William Newsome and Mary Gledhill, on 26 May 1844 at Batley George's father's name is given as Benjamin.²
He was listed in the census of 30 March 1851 at Havercroft, Batley, as a cloth drawer aged 31.
George Wrigley married Hannah Parker, daughter of Joseph Jubb and Letitia Talbot, in 1857 her first husband Matthew Parker having died ten years earlier.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Billy Well Lane, Batley, as a cloth drawer and rag merchant.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Wellington St, Batley, as a Cotton Warp manufacturer.⁵
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Burnley Mill Yard, Batley, Woollen manufacturer employing 230 men and women.⁶
In 1886 George Wrigley was was elected an Alderman.
He was listed in the census of 5 April 1891 at Hilberoyd Rd, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer, widower.⁷
He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census at Hilberoyd Rd, Batley. Retired Woollen manufacturer.⁸

     Hannah Senior was born in 1831. She was the daughter of Joseph Senior and Elizabeth Colbeck. Hannah Senior was baptized on 8 January 1832 at Batley.¹
She married Joseph Parker, son of Joseph Parker and Jane Blakeley, on 13 May 1852 at Batley.¹
In the census of 7 April 1861 Hannah Senior was listed at Providence Street, Batley, as wife of Joseph Parker.²
In the census of 2 April 1871 Hannah Senior was listed at Providence St, Batley, as wife of Joseph Parker.³
Hannah Senior died on 11 June 1876 at Batley.

     Jane E Parker was born in 1864. She was the daughter of Joseph Parker and Hannah Senior. In the census of 2 April 1871 she was listed as a scholar aged 7 the daughter of Joseph Parker at Providence St, Batley.¹

     William Hall was born in 1817. He was the son of Joseph Hall and Ann Gledhill. William Hall was baptized on 29 June 1817 at Batley.¹

     Sarah Hall was born in 1814. She was the daughter of Joseph Hall and Ann Gledhill. Sarah Hall was baptized on 25 December 1814 at Batley.¹

     Dixon Hall was born on 25 September 1844.¹ He was the son of William Hall and Harriet Pycock. In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as as a scholar aged 6 the son of William Hall at Clerk Green, Batley.²
He was listed in the census of 7 April 1861 at Keighley as an ironmonger's apprentice.³
Circa 1867 Dixon Hall took over an ironmongery business in Commercial Street, Batley, which had belonged to the recently deceased William Roberts.
He married Pamelia Colbeck, daughter of Isaac Colbeck and Elizabeth Ineson, in 1869 at St Thomas's Church, Batley.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Lower Soothill.⁴
William Hall Watson was apprenticed to his uncle Dixon Hall when he was 15, and was to remain connected with the firm for some 65 years in 1882 (an unknown value).^1,5 He died on 14 March 1917 at Park Villa, Grosvenor Rd, Batley, at age 72; aged 73.¹

     Harriet Lodge was born in 1846. She was the daughter of Godfrey Lodge and Caroline Senior. Harriet Lodge was baptized on 12 February 1846 at Emley.
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as aged 5 the son-in-law of Nancy Senior.¹ In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the sister-in-law of Josephus Senior at West End, Skelmanthorpe.²

     John Blakeley married Rachel Parr, daughter of Thomas Parr and Sarah Auty, in 1843.¹

     Agnes Lodge was born circa 1843. She was the daughter of Godfrey Lodge and Caroline Senior. Agnes Lodge was baptized on 9 July 1843 at Emley.
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as aged 7 the daughter of Nancy Senior at Common End, High Hoyland.¹

     Lettice Lodge was born in 1844. She was the daughter of Godfrey Lodge and Caroline Senior. Lettice Lodge was baptized on 20 December 1844 at Emley.

     Ambrose Lodge was born circa 1849. He was the son of Godfrey Lodge and Caroline Senior. In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as aged 2 the son-in-law of Nancy Senior.¹

     ? Lodge was born in 1851. She was the daughter of Godfrey Lodge and Caroline Senior. In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as aged 1 month the son-in-law of Nancy Senior.¹

     Sarah Senior was born in 1797. She was the daughter of John Senior and Ann Haigh. Sarah Senior was baptized on 10 September 1797 at High Hoyland.¹

     Benjamin Senior was born in 1810 at Skelmanthorpe. He was the son of John Senior and Ann Haigh. Benjamin Senior was baptized on 4 March 1810 at High Hoyland.
