     Godfrey Rhodes was born in 1594 at Mirfield. He was the son of William Rhodes and Agnes Hall. Godfrey Rhodes was baptized on 15 December 1594 at Mirfield.¹

     Jeremy Rhodes was born in 1590 at Mirfield. He was the son of William Rhodes and Agnes Hall. Jeremy Rhodes was baptized on 31 January 1590/91 at Mirfield.¹
He died in 1591 at Mirfield. He was buried on 16 February 1590/91 at Mirfield.¹

     William Rhodes was born in 1607 at Mirfield. He was the son of William Rhodes and Agnes Hall. William Rhodes was baptized on 13 April 1607 at Mirfield.¹

     William Stable married Agnes Rhodes, daughter of William Rhodes and Agnes Hall, on 1 June 1619 at Mirfield.¹

     Robert Wilson was born in 1781. He was the son of Daniel Wilson. Robert Wilson was baptized on 7 April 1781 at Wakefield.^1,2
He married Hannah Sheard, daughter of George Sheard and Hannah Blakeley, on 27 December 1802 at Batley.³

Robert Wilson married Ann Elam, daughter of James Taylor, on 5 October 1840 at Wakefield witnesses were James Heptonstall (Parish Clerk) and James Taylor.^4,1
In the census of 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a Woollen manufacturer.⁵
Robert Wilson died in 1849 at Batley. He was buried on 9 March 1849 at Batley ; aged 67.³

     Daniel Wilson was born on 21 November 1803. He was the son of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard. Daniel Wilson was baptized on 18 December 1803 at Batley.¹
He married Martha Beecroft on 25 December 1822 at Batley witnessed by Jo.Chadwick, Wm Spedding.^2,1
Daniel Wilson died in 1838 at Batley. He was buried on 11 March 1838 at Batley.

     Martha Beecroft was born in 1803 at Batley. She married Daniel Wilson, son of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard, on 25 December 1822 at Batley witnessed by Jo.Chadwick, Wm Spedding.^1,2
In the census of 6 June 1841 she was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as widow Wilson.³
In the census of 30 March 1851 she was listed as the head of household at J Ward's Hill, Batley, as a widow, a bobbin winder.⁴
In the census of 7 April 1861 she was listed as the head of household at John Ward's Hill, Batley, as a bobbin winder.⁵

     Abraham Wilson was born in 1823. He was the son of Daniel Wilson and Martha Beecroft. Abraham Wilson was baptized on 1 June 1823 at Batley.¹
He married Bathia Kemp, daughter of William Kemp, in 1843.

     Bathia Kemp was the daughter of William Kemp. Bathia Kemp married Abraham Wilson, son of Daniel Wilson and Martha Beecroft, in 1843.

     Cornelius Wilson was born on 4 July 1864 at Batley.¹ He was the son of Abraham Wilson and Bathia Kemp. Cornelius Wilson married Ada Jane Thornton in 1908.

     Ada Jane Thornton married Cornelius Wilson, son of Abraham Wilson and Bathia Kemp, in 1908.

     George Wilson was born on 5 April 1806. He was the son of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard. George Wilson was baptized on 1 June 1806 at Batley.
He married Mary Driver on 2 December 1827 at Tong.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a woollen weaver.²
George Wilson married Susan Allott in 1843.³
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft, Batley, as a cloth fuller.⁴

     Hannah Wilson was born on 7 February 1812. She was the daughter of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard. Hannah Wilson was baptized on 18 May 1812 at Batley.¹
She married William Day, son of John Day and Sarah Blakeley, on 14 February 1831 at Batley Witnesses were James Sheard and Joseph Jubb.¹
Hannah Wilson died in 1840. She was buried on 24 January 1840 at Batley.¹

     Robert Wilson was born on 20 July 1809. He was the son of Robert Wilson and Hannah Sheard. Robert Wilson was baptized on 6 August 1809 at Batley.
He married Ann Jubb on 26 October 1830 at Tong.
Robert Wilson married Hannah Newsome on 25 December 1832 at Wakefield IGI has as Ann.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was listed as the head of household at Havercroft Lane End, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer aged 30.²
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as the head of household at New Road, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer. One female servant is kept.³
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at New Road Side, Batley, as aged 52, a woollen manufacturer employing 91 men, 67 women and 24 boys.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at New Road side, Batley, as a widower, a woollen manufacturer, master, employing 220 hands.
Mary Hargreaves, a widow aged 64, is employed as a housekeeper, and there is one domestic servant, Ann Day aged 19.⁵
Robert Wilson died in 1880. He was buried on 25 June 1880 at the cemetery, Batley.

     Elizabeth Ward was born on 20 October 1762. She was the daughter of John Ward and Mary (?). Elizabeth Ward was baptized on 21 November 1762 at Batley.

     Henry Sheard was born in 1827. He was the son of David Sheard and Martha Talbot.
Henry Sheard was baptized on 4 March 1827 at Batley.¹
In the census of 6 June 1841 he was living with John Cowling and his wife Sarah who was his late mother's elder sister.²
Henry Sheard married Ellen Hepworth, daughter of Joseph Hepworth and Ellen Blamires, on 27 February 1851 at Batley witnesses were Joseph Hepworth and Jane Sheard.^3,1
In the census of 30 March 1851 he was listed as as a bookkeeper at woollen manufactory the son-in-law of Ellen Hepworth.⁴ In 1855 Henry Sheard received a £50 legacy from his uncle George Sheard, to be adjusted if Henry had any outstanding debt to him.

He and Samuel Sheard were for a time in partnership as manufacturers with Samuel Senior at Victoria Mill, but he withdrew from the partnership on on 30 December 1857.⁵ In 1857 Henry Sheard was listed as a manufacturer together with his brother Samuel (Sheard and Senior)The firm are listed as at Victoria Mill under the heading of Blanket Manufacturers and again under the heading of Woollen Manufacturers.⁶
He and Samuel Sheard with Samuel Seniorwere also among some dozen partners in Toad Pipes Mill, another company venture, where cloth finishing appears to have been carried out, for in 1857 finishing machinery was offered for sale. Soon after that the mill was sold. In 1859 Henry Sheard was living at the bottom of Batley Field Hill in the Poll Book of that year at Batley.
In the census of 7 April 1861 he was listed as the head of household at Field Hill, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer.⁷
The partnership between brothers Henry Sheard and Samuel Sheard in the trade of woollen manufacturers, trading as Sheards and Senior or under any other name was dissolved on on 10 June 1861 Stock in hand was offered for sale, and consisted of plain and figured pilots, reversibles, coatings, etc.^5,8
Henry Sheard and Abraham Talbot were said to have been two of the partners in the Alexandra Mill Company.⁹
In 1870 Henry Sheard was listed as a woollen manufacturer, Bradford Road and Alexandra Mill.¹⁰
In the census of 2 April 1871 he was listed as the head of household at Batley Field Hill, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer.¹¹
In the census of 3 April 1881 he was listed as the head of household at Field Hill Gothic Cottage, Batley, as a woollen manufacturer.¹²
In the census of 5 April 1891 he was listed as the head of household at 7 Field Hill, Batley, as an accountant.¹³
In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the head of household at 7 Field Hill, Batley, as an accountant.¹⁴
He died on 24 December 1905.¹⁵

     Sarah Sheard was born on 14 December 1794.¹ She was the daughter of George Sheard and Ann Greenwood. Sarah Sheard was baptized on 17 February 1795 at Batley.¹

     James Sheard was born on 25 September 1763 at Batley. He was the son of Michael Sheard and Sarah Barber. James Sheard was baptized on 2 October 1763 at Batley.¹

     Joseph Akeroyd was the son of Michael Akeroyd. Joseph Akeroyd married Martha Sheard, daughter of Michael Sheard and Sarah Barber, on 18 October 1795 at Parish Church, Batley, witnesses Thomas Parr, Joseph Newsome.¹

     Benjamin Akeroyd was born on 28 March 1796. He was the son of Joseph Akeroyd and Martha Sheard. Benjamin Akeroyd was baptized on 26 June 1796 at Parish Church, Batley.

     James Akeroyd was born on 29 August 1799. He was the son of Joseph Akeroyd and Martha Sheard. James Akeroyd was baptized on 18 September 1799 at Parish Church, Batley.¹

     Elizabeth Akeroyd was born on 20 April 1802. She was the daughter of Joseph Akeroyd and Martha Sheard. Elizabeth Akeroyd was baptized on 13 June 1802 at Parish Church, Batley.¹

     William Akeroyd was born in 1805. He was the son of Joseph Akeroyd and Martha Sheard. William Akeroyd was baptized on 27 February 1805 at Parish Church, Batley.¹
